UMBREE A Blight Unrealized Lairmaker A generally sweet and gentle Pearlcatcher dragon, Umbree is unlike many of her kind-- She isn't too much a fan of gossips, can take "no" for an answer and is quite avid for solitude despite being socially active among other dragons. Having a lot of friends may be an advantage to other dragons, but she would rather keep a small size of companions she can relate to and spend time with. Umbree could not quite recall her home lair, nor would she care much about it. She left the Starfall Isles with all skills and knowledge she could muster, northwest from the Windswept Plateau and found herself in foreign land-- Wherever she went, bamboos, shrubs and grass cover the land below, and above the skies a massive, seemingly endless windstorm. The other side of the plateau, however had a gigantic kite connected to several platforms of various sizes, far as her eyes could see. She later found a disk among the apparently endless slither of the gigantic kite, with it a flag planted in the front entrance. "Galesweeper Tribe", it was called. Having traveled in search for new home for days beyond counting, Umbree finally settled down in the tribe. Here, she does what she does best-- Build and decorate lairs to another dragon's liking, even if she knew a dragon her breed isn't "supposed" to do all the hard work. Sadly, she, like Caligo is shadetouched. Her condition though takes a more benign variety and is not a threat to other dragons. Ironically enough, the purely obsidian Pearlcatcher is the first other dragon she actually starts to communicate a lot more to than even her own tribe's chieftess. Umbree adores Caligo, even with all the flaws he has. She now is paired to him as his mate. DRAGON SUBSPECIES Rebelshade Shade-beings who take the form of dragons or dragons cursed by their afflictions, but instead of carrying out the will of their kind, they have developed resistance against their abominable nature, and thus choose to use the elements given to other dragons. Rebelshade dragons often avoid association with the Shade at all costs, choosing to favor the Eleven, their clans, go solo, or in rare cases even align with those of the Beastclans. The Rebelshade dragons may take on any elemental affinity, color, species and gene combinations, but Pearlcatcher dragons within black-ranged colors and striking, sparkling genes are the most abundant among this subspecies. Any dragon can produce Rebelshade offspring for as long as one of the paired mates is a Rebelshade dragon themselves.
