Biography
At first glance, Kazato is a regal and imposing looking dragon. His primal eyes gust and swirl with wind energy, a warning of great power within.

In reality, Kazato is a gentle and kind dragon who desires nothing but peace in Seabreeze. He is careful with what he says, wary of the consequences that may come with his words. His first response to a conflict would be to try and diffuse it peacefully. He also tries to interact more with Seabreeze's citizens. It's not unusual to see him wandering the city's streets, greeting those that pass him.

Due to the suddenness of his crowning, and the fact that he is adopted, he is rather insecure of his position and his decisions, and relies heavily on the input of his council. It doesn’t help that he apparently holds some great destiny in a prophesied war for the future.

Despite his insecurities and peaceful nature, he can fight and he can fight well. Having been trained by Segretario, he is nimble and swift in his physical attacks despite not being able to fly. His magic is where he shines the most however. As a Wind Primal, he holds immense power over his element. He can generate powerful cyclones, fade into mist, and slice with razor sharp gusts. He rarely uses his power offensively, as he still tries to end a fight with as little bloodshed as possible.

He is flightless however, his wings damaged when he was young. He's been able to work around it for the most part, but he feels he is missing out on the greatest parts of being a Wind Dragon.

Adopted at a young age by Emperor Segretario, Kazato lived his life within the walls of Seabreeze Palace. He was sheltered from and thus unaware of his adopted father's secrets. He is currently trying to uncover the truth behind his father's actions and his death.

Familiar:
Being one of the Seabreeze Emperor's symbols, Kazato owns two Bamboo Phytocats: Fang and Jade. They're typically seen lounging next to Kazato's throne, or flanking him as he walks. The cats make for threatening guardians should something make it past the guards, their silence and strength making anything that dare harm their master regret even thinking the idea.

Relationships:

Despite the rumors and controversy surrounding Aella, Kazato believes that she is a good dragon; Having known her for most of his life. Aella maintains somewhat of a mentor role to Kazato, advising him as she did for his father while still keeping her distance out of guilt and regret.

The most standoffish and strict of the council, Condor and Kazato’s decisions and beliefs often clash.

Tianlong is Kazato’s closest aide, having known him since his birth. Tianlong often serves as a more parental figure in the absence of Segretario, and also as a spiritual advisor.

Kazato’s adoptive father and the former emperor of Seabreeze. He and Kazato were very close until he became reclusive. Still holding true to the memories of Segretario, Kazato seeks to uncover the truth of what exactly led to these events and his father’s death.

Tildurae

Gairoth and Kazato are definitely in a relationship. Gairoth tags along to any social event requiring the emperor’s presence, and the two can often be seen walking together, tails intertwined. Kazato often gets him metallic charms as gifts.

Facts:
- Kazato can run on wind as a substitute for flying. His “flight” is still limited however, he can’t go very high, and he isn’t as agile as a flying dragon. It also needs a strong wind to work correctly as well.

- Kazato possesses some yokai blood in him, further boosting both his value as Seabreeze's leader and his insecurity. Because of his blood, he can see spirits and disguised yokai, but he has yet to fully tap into the true powers and abilities he possesses.
