Segretario
Fallen Master
Former Emperor of Seabreeze

Biography
Wandering the streets of Seabreeze, one may come into contact with a sorrowful phantom. One that carries deep guilt, and bears grim warnings of the future.

Emperor Segretario was a very powerful dragon, and a beloved emperor. He radiated strength and dignity, and possessed great honor. He was greatly beloved by Seabreeze’s citizens for his kindness and past actions.

Known as the Warrior Emperor, Segretario is known for finally putting an end to the conflicts between Seabreeze and the alliances of the Beast King. Uniting with the Longneck Herd of the Hurricane Cliffs and the Seabreeze Talonok Flock and finally driving the responsible Dragon and Harpy Leaders out of their territory. Thus ushering Seabreeze and the local Beastclans into a new era of peace. He also led many forays against bandit clans that plagued roadways into the city, ensuring their security.

But things began to change. Segretario began to make less and less appearances in public. He appeared worn and tired when he did, and his behavior grew erratic and almost paranoid. He began to close himself off to even his own council. Even his own adopted son, who he had grown to care for as though he were his actual offspring.

Those that did interact with him, recounted him rambling on about great threats in the future. Speaking of deadly snakes and unspeakable horrors. Expressing worry about what he called the destiny of Seabreeze, and his own son.

Quickly rumors began to spread: He was sick and dying, perhaps he was plagued by an evil spirit, maybe he was cursed, and many more of the sort. Though the most prevalent was that Segretario was being affected by something far worse. And the rumor soon sprung up that Seabreeze’s beloved emperor had been in contact with Shade.

At first no one wanted to believe it, as though even thinking it would bring them great trouble, but soon that rumor began to drown out the rest. More and more evidence of Shade Affliction began to surface. Soon it was all that anyone spoke of, and the very city was seized by fear and worry.

No one is sure of how exactly he died, but many speak of an assassin. The citizens of Seabreeze mourned the dragon that he once was, not the one he had become. A brilliantly colored serpent was found curled around his grave, as though in mourning itself.

Many state that his ghost still wanders Seabreeze City’s streets. Weighed down by deep regret for what he’d allowed himself to become, and that he wasn’t able to prevent the great threat he had allegedly foreseen. Unable to pass on. Those that say they’ve encountered him recount the somber, ragged appearance of someone fallen from grace. Even to this day he is still trying to warn Seabreeze, and he desires to speak with his son once more. To send one last warning.

Only time will tell if his prophecy is true.

Ebon-Edged Spear Rusted Chain Vial of Mysterious Toxin 40565.png Familiar:
Symbols of the newfound peace between Seabreeze and the Talonok, and symbols of Segretario himself, a Tiger Foo named Ghost was one of the Emperor’s closest companion creatures. He was often seen faithfully sitting at Segretario’s side, scanning the area with a proud gaze. Since Segretario’s death, he has since disappeared. Many report seeing a wild Foo with pure white fur and rusted armor stalking Seabreeze’s streets however, often preluding the appearance of Segretario’s ghost.
