???
The scream broke though the calm of the clan territory. It was startled and confused. Summer had been working with Mika and her son, Berry as the pair attempted to recreate the result of Berry's birth. the lighting hadn't been created, the attempts have failed, and it was time to clean up for the day. The Guardian had attempted to avoid stepping on her sleeping parda familiar and more or less succeeded. She had stepped over the sleeping feline but the books she was carrying toppled. in order to avoid causing a serious mess she stretched out to compensate for the momentum she had created. the Tundra and Bogsnek turned in surprise, rushing to her side to help. Berry had caught the books and Mika steadied the guardian but Summer was still struggling to not step on her parda. Seeing the actual issue, Berry scooped up the familiar. unfortunately this resulted in Summer not wanting to step on (or in this new position kick) the bogsneak. With her large bulk, the frantic smaller dragons and the familiars attempting to do something, Summer fell with a scream into the cauldron.
Mika's cauldron was shattered into chunks that spilled it's contents over the lab. worried that there would be adverse reactions, May summoned up plants to dam up the mess. There wasn't any fanfair after the scream and wave of colorful ooze and slime. There also wasn't a guardian. Mika began franticly looking for her new assistant, horror seeping into her mind- what if she was dissolved? what if she was turned into a fea and is drowning in the sludge? "Summer! Please answer me!" The tundra scooped and shoveled though the remains of her cauldron only to be surprised by a bubble growing before popping in her face. staring up at the alchemist was a tiny sunset dragon. Summer was sunset. "Summer?" she asked.
with a swaying nod the new veilspun blinked away the stars in her eyes. the former guardian slowly took in her surroundings and eventually herself. The parda, finally awake, walked up as Mika carefully lifted Summer from the muck. "You!" she pointed an accusatory claw at her familiar. "You're never coming with my to the lab again!"
