Lukas

Lukas and his near identical twin sister Lumia grew up closer than two peas in a pod. They never looked similar enough to trade places with one another and confuse their parents, but they certainly tried.

Lukas was the total opposite to his mercurial sister -- every emotion he felt was dulled, and he didn't really possess too much empathy of his own. His strongest relationship has always been with his sister, who never faulted him for being stoic or too insensitive. She was risible, but he could always calm her down too. And when he put his foot in his mouth, she would take him aside later and let him know what he did wrong and how he could fix it.

Despite the fact that they grew up together, they have no idea where either of them will end up. Their father's dangerous life at sea attracts them, but they both have sharp minds capable of pursuing the same academic pursuits as their mother. Wherever they go, they'll stay in touch. That's what twins do.
