Andus's Ancient History
While his teacher pens her most recent studies, Andus holds onto the older scrolls for safe keeping. If you're willing to stay awhile and listen to the stories within you'll find out that Andus is a little sad to see clans fade into history. Founded by the Guardian Lightfoot and the Tundra Luckystone; progenitors. (AU version) A simple clan, they lived in the tundra where the lair was dug deep into the permafrost and shored up with pine logs. Lightfoot welcomed strangers into their ranks with open arms. This backfired several years after the founding when Veil and Trance gained power within the clan, causing the disappearance of Luckystone* and exiling Lightfoot** to the Cloudscrape Crags where she plotted revenge. Their barrow now lays forgotten... The dragons that called it home either followed the usurpers or died. Those who manage to escape the carnage scattered to the winds. * Luckystone was exalted, but returned ** Lightfoot succumbed to the elements, but her hateful spirit influenced the lives of her reincarnations... Taken over by the Skydancers Veil and Trance. The two Plague-born sisters successfully staged a coup where they killed Lightfoot and exiled Luckystone. It is unclear what made them move the survivors to Dragonhome, but the sisters' knack for tyranny continued. Dragons who were unfit for battle or otherwise deemed unworthy were ritually sacrificed to the Plaguebringer, and their bodies sent over the cliff and into the edge of the Wandering Contagion. The majority of the clan was killed, including Veil and Trance, in a massive cave-in. |

Founded by the Fae Emrys and the Tundra Iari. (More notes here & here) The young Fae had been called by... ▛▞ to the Blood Cliffs, empty of all life and guarded by the statue of a Guardian at the lair's entrance. With a cave system haunted by spirits, and no easy way to rebuild the lair, Emrys was torn on what to do. Heavy burdens are not easy for young leaders to bear and the young Fae confided his worries to a Mirror, Rheic, who offered her support in secret. The Blood Cliffs certainly lived up to their name when the lair suffered a catastrophic cave-in. Those closest to the entrance were saved by the mysterious Guardian statue when it sprang to life and gathered the clan under its wings. A surge of magic from the statue transported the clan to the Southern Icefields. |

Taken over by the Mirror Rheic after Emrys stepped down as the leader. By all accounts it looked as if the Guardian statue had managed to use powerful magic, and efforts to investigate how it happened only revealed a name: Ruska. But it wasn't meant to be. |

Taken over by the Wildclaws Mulsekrah and Nosmediiz. With spirits under their control, as well as a team of mercenaries, Mulsekrah attacked the "invading" clan led by Rheic, and the illusion of being in the Southern Icefields shattered. Factions within the clan caused a somewhat non-violent split; one group decided to stay with the underground lair they had worked so hard to create, the other became a nomadic band of mercenaries known as The Akaantal Band. When Mulsekrah and Nosmediiz left with the nomads Rheic took control of leadership again. She did not handle losing the control of the clan well, and time spent in the subterranean waters of the Abiding Boneyard corrupted her. |

Founded by the Mirror Hixono. A ragtag group of mercenaries and blood mages, they scraped together a life for themselves by ambushing many unwary dragons and beastfolk. It was here that the necromancer Shedzra reanimated the Ridgeback Lockjaw and bound her to his will. |
