Notes:
- A former exalt, Aya pronounced herself a heathen and shamelessly left her duties behind her. She was meant to fight for the Plaguebringer but she "didn't feel like it." The other exalts scorn her, but she knew she was burning bridges in doing what she did. She doesn't regret it.
- After leaving the plague exalts, Aya took up mercenary work. She knows her way around swords and hammers, and is still willing to fight for the right price. When work was scarce, she had taken part in various arena competitions, often placing high enough to get a fair chunk of treasure.
- Her travels led her to the Ashfall Waste, where she quickly became charmed by the strange little town based around Clan Madrigal. More specifically, she loved the tavern and plenty of its regulars. She took the greatest shine to Sarial, surprising literally everyone that knows that scumbag.
- She's part of the royal guard now, her skill recognized by the queen. Her free hours are often spent at the tavern with Sarial, Max, and Xulye.
