Sarial

Notes:
- The unsavory result of Vesh getting too close to a shade-tainted mirror while on a gathering expedition. When approaching to destroy it, his reflection stepped out and threw away his mask, revealing a cluster of pustule-like eyes that Vesh himself certainly didn't possess. It's uncertain if Sarial is a shade creature.
- He shares all of Vesh's memories up until a certain point, that being where he deviates. The mirror gave life to what would have happened if Vesh made the wrong choice at a point in his life where his future was riding on one decision. Sarial is everything Vesh feared becoming, a belligerent beast eager to fight anyone and everyone, has no consideration whatsoever for others, often needing to be forcibly removed from the tavern when he's denied more drinks.
- He's monitored closely by various members of the royal guard, mainly to watch for signs of him becoming a genuine threat. Thankfully, he's more set on being annoying and catcalling anyone in his age range or above.
- Has a crush on Neerah despite them having a husband. Ericle isn't an overly violent dragon, but is more than willing to kick Sarial's butt to leave his mate alone. Neerah insists they can handle the pestilent brute themself, though, and usually shoos Sarial out of their lab.
- Just about no one likes this guy. Especially not Vesh or Almarith. He just doesn't cause enough trouble to be worth kicking out, and frankly the queen worries about him being tempted to join forces with the clan's number one enemy if ostracized.
- Has nightmares of something ancient and unknowable watching and puppeteering him and his clanmates, but no one believes him when he tries to tell them.
- He's found a friend in Aya, an individual that's awfully like-minded to him. While some claim it isn't a good thing, both of them are happy together, but afraid to make anything official. Them having each other's company actually helps contain their individual brands of chaos.
- His one use other than being horribly annoying is dealing with border defense. If the neighboring cultists get any funny ideas, Sarial is ready to throw down in an instant. He has magical "tripwires" that let him know if one of the gold-cursed Banescales is drawing too close with hostile intent. The cultists learned their lesson after the first beatdown, especially after being chastised by Earthen for threatening "the fragile peace".
