S U M M A R Y
Argyros holds an esteemed position at Deity's Rest Monastery as Clan Ambassador and Advisor to Feldspar, the Patriarch. It is a position that commands respect, and affords him great luxury and privilege, which, unlike some of the more... pious dragons the clan attracts, Argyros has no reservations about indulging in extravagance. After all, he would argue that he works very hard to ensure the integrity of the clan, and any comforts he may earn from this are well deserved. At first glace, the Wildclaw appears to spend most of his time slinking around Feldspar, speaking to him only in whispers, far removed from where others may hear. The perceptive observer however, may notice something that seems out of place on him. Barely visible, just under his shimmering court silks, hides a dagger strapped to his thigh. His claw never strays too far away from this, seemingly taking comfort in its presence. For all his courtly pomp and arrogance, he hardly looks like the type who could twirl a dagger without an impromptu amputation of one of his own fingers. But appearances are deceptive, and Argyros is no exception. Just as a snake bites and a scorpion stings, it is simply in Argyros' nature to do whatever he can to further his own personal gain, even if it means driving a knife into someone's back every now and then. Such a nature garnered the dragon a swathe of enemies before he found himself in the safety of Deity's Rest Monastery, and with such a glaring target on his back, it was a case of learning how to defend himself, or meeting his end in the form of a swift blade to his belly. When eventually he had one enemy too many chasing at his heels, he found refuge in this quaint Monastery, full of dragons welcoming him with open arms. His silver tongue and knowledge of the world quickly curried favour with Feldspar, and it didn't take long for Argyros to worm his way into his inner circle. Safe and in a position of power, Argyros finally felt as though he may have a place to settle down. By all appearances, he certainly seems loyal to the Patriarch, and professes his faith and love for the gods every day, while The High Chimera discreetly watches from afar. If talks are required between Deity's Rest and a neighbouring clan, Argyros is dispatched to represent the clan. There is never any fear of an unfavourable outcome for the Monastery however with the Wildclaw's charismatic nature at play, which is always backed up by the two other 'mediators' flanking Argyros' sides, Harpax and Sunder who can be extremely convincing in their own rights...
