kenos, "empty"; taphos, "tomb" PERSONALITY Cenotaph's personality is... a complicated thing to gauge. While she certainly exists - and even has set pronouns she prefers to use when with her siblings or mother - she is otherwise in constant flux, affected by those around her. Porcelain's work as the clan's doctor - and likewise her Uncle Tabian's work - mean their magic is contained and less likely to influence her, while Verbana and Chalice are deeply contained by their own nature. Panoptes and Brea are more effusive with their energy, however it is coupled with a love for Cenotaph that allows her to express herself. Fauna meanwhile is shy, and is contained due to that. Around strangers, Cenotaph often picks up aspects of personality, mannerisms, accents and the like, simply due to her own hollow nature. ABOUT An extreme of her cauldron siblings, where Panoptes is life with a changeable form, Cenotaph is a clear physical form with little individual life or personality. If she lives, it is hard to tell exactly how. Called "Little Masque" by Verbana, Cenotaph is a hollow entity of movement, easily swayed by the magical energies around her, taking on aspects of nearby personalities. Most commonly this is her parents - creator Bilberrios and his wife Porcelain - and her siblings - Panoptes, Verbana, Chalice and Fauna. However she is at times known to help Porcelain - when a dragon is too sick to convey their ills but not ill of something the researchers can identify, she is asked to channel them, to let them voice their hurts in a body with none of them. Where Panoptes has a form that ever-changes and boundless life, and Verbana a stable form but a need for the lifeblood of others to stay stable, Cenotaph is almost a hollow shell, a mimicry of life apart from the constructed self she can maintain with those she calls family. Bilberrios considers her a failure. Cenotaph considers herself to be... well. Whatever it is that she is. Unsurprisingly, Cenotaph and Bilberrios do not spend much time together. RELATIONSHIPS
    Verbana, Brea, Chalice, Fauna | Sisters When emotions don't come naturally to one it can be hard to know how one feels about things - but Cenotaph is reasonably sure she loves her siblings just as she loves Porcelain.
