Oriana opens her eyes to the peaceful singing of her mother, “you are my sunshine, my only sunshine…..you’ll never know dear, how much I love you, please don’t take my sunshine away, yay!” Oriana was crying for hours as soon as she was born, and her parents found out quickly what calmed her down. Little did they know, she wasn’t crying because she was sad or hungry, but she could hear screams, lots of them. Oriana’s given talent from her mom was that of experiencing past events, and when she was a baby she didn’t know how to control it, so she kept experiencing the heart aching situations of her father, mother, brothers, sisters, and family members. She was terrified as a baby because she saw her own family being brutally beaten by The Organization, right in front of her eyes, and she couldn’t do anything about it. The calming lullaby her parents sang to her reassured her that its all in the past.

Oriana was an angel as a child, she never acted bratty, never talked back, but many times she’ll wake her parents up with screaming from her nightmares, also known as the past. Like most time tots, Oriana was enrolled into a training academy to learn how to fend for herself. Experiencing firsthand what The Organization can do, Oriana became full of revenge. As soon as Oriana learned the basics of combat she secretly started training with a relative and became a master assassin. She would sneak into Organization member houses and murder them. She didn’t convey this info to her parents, because she knew they loved her too much, so she went undercover, and was nicknamed “The Sun Reaper”. She was nicknamed so because she would go into the victims house and play the only thing that soothed her as a kid, “You are my sunshine”. When the song ended, you were dead. Her reputation didn’t fail her, many Organization members heard the haunting stories of The Sun Reaper, and never knew it was true until they hear the eerie lullaby playing in their own house. She didn’t like murdering, she didn’t like the shrieks of sadness when the family saw their own father/mate lying motionless on the ground, but it was the only way. It was the only way they can experience all the years of heartache she had to endure. But Oriana wasn’t happy, revenge only satisfied her for a small amount of time. Eventually, she experienced the life of her nephew Josiah, and was in awe of how he managed to grow and live from what happened. Oriana tracked him down, and asked him a great deal of questions, one of them being “Didn’t you want revenge?” Josiah answers with a calm response, “I did, but I got a taste of it when I turned into plague, and I knew it wasn’t for me. Revenge wouldn’t bring me the satisfaction I wanted, I knew friends would. I learned to move on and start healing.” Oriana knew sweet revenge wasn’t making her happy anymore, so why not try this moving on stuff? She traveled back to her parents, who were happy to see their daughter happy. She caught up with them, learned a few calming tricks from her father, and in time traveled to her nephew’s clan, where she is at present, teaching little warriors combat. She is content and happy now, still, The Organization, or anybody who messes with her clan for that matter, better watch out! The Sun Reaper comes out from time to time, seeking men’s souls.
