Maybe strictly speaking, Lightbulb isn't technically a dragon. Her creator and father is, after all, a fae piloting a bogsneak mech-suit, making her...scrapmetal? Her co-creator, Ming, doesn't let her get that down on herself for long, though. She assures her daughter that she is every bit as special as a full-blooded dragon - maybe even a little more so, since she do all sorts of cool things like complex computations and brain surgery. So, for all intents and purposes, Lightbulb considers herself to be sort of a liaison between flesh and robot. She was originally brought into the world as an experiment, as a mere consideration by her "father" whether or not he could do so, and there's something special about that, she figures. After all, most hatchlings come about as mistakes, and she at the very least was meticulously planned. This cyborg is insanely smart, with a mental processing speed that far surpasses even her father's. The drawback to that is that her cranial connections are rather loose and ill-fit, being that she is her father's first model - meaning that she occasionally blanks out and loses every bit of information she's learned up until that point, save for a few critical details such as her name and her creators. Her clan has taken to keeping a few backups of her brain on hand for occasions such as this. As a result, she rarely leaves them, fearing critical failure while alone and vulnerable. In the meantime, her clan has made her their go-to scientist. With Lightbulb's contributions, new methods of food storage, weaponry, and other technological advances have been made.

You've never met a robot face-to-face before. You're not quite sure what you were expecting. Maybe some fax machine noises, at the very least, or an obvious lack of empathy. So far, Lightbulb hasn't exhibited either of those features. She offered to fix up some of your equipment on the house - "just so I have something to do!" - while you were walking through Mavenlark, and while you at first took her for a thief, she actually seems to be desperate for conversation, more than anything. Maybe you should give her a chance.
