Garm was born close to the hewn city and grew up in a loving home. A favourite pastime for him were excursions with fellow curious young dragons, where they would dare each other to enter the hewn city or try to obtain forbidden knowledge. On a sunny day in company of his friends, he heard a beckoning song and, too curious for his own good, followed it far into the most ancient ruins. When he did not return after nightfall his whole clan searched for him but he remained lost to them.

After weeks, he was found by Solveig on the other side of the border, now with dark-stained feathers and a strange glint in his eye. He has clear memories of what happened but won't talk about it. Though he has kept a furious thirst for knowledge he is now loyal to death to the Shadowbinder.

Some say the Lady of Shadows spirited him away to vex the Lightweaver. But would the Lady of Light really leave such spite unatoned?

Now, he happily lives in the Tangled Wood with his mate Forseti and is the clan's messenger and ambassador, especially in-flight.

He often helps Idunn in her duties.
