Biography

mi1172.jpg

Pronouns: She/her, ze/hir

When Schorl came to the wandering rock clan, no one knew much of what to make of hir. Many became uneasy, knowing ze did not seem entirely dragon, but they never turned down a fellow called one. Several members of the clan argued hir presence, the oldest members looked upon hir with wary eyes, and some of the younger made hir presence known to be untrusted.
However, they saw hir level of affliction, how taken ze was, and decided to try to help.
Schorl was in fact very taken, long before ze reached the clan. So taken in fact, the crystals themselves had sent hir to fasten their bonds. They had lost their most devoted one, and so hoped to press the clan into turning their fascinations back to the alien beings trapped below, seeking to use their minds and bodies as ways to the world once more.
Schorl first set hir eyes on Obsidian, seeking the one most afflicted to turn back to their thirst for the connection. Ze soon found however, that Obsidian’s fierce affection was too strong to flounder in the face of even their strongest pull.
And so ze looked elsewhere, attempting to bond with each member of the clan carefully to see which had the greatest desire, and weakest will.
As ze grew to know these dragons however, ze found a strange place among them. It was unbalanced, and uncertain, but leaps and bounds ahead of what ze once knew. Hir life had been a haze, blurred and distorted by the many sharing hir mind. Ze soon found the haze lifting, and found hirself seeking their trust and companionship. Many still looked upon hir with concern, knew ze had tried to tempt some to give in to the call.
Sugilite and Polybasite saw the change first however, they saw hir seeking to be free, and so defended hir from the others. They took hir under their protection, and with the help of the clan, however reluctant, fought with hir for hir freedom.
