"The Moonrunner thugs may be happy here, but that doesn't mean we all are!"

We used to get support directly from the Clan de la Noche... but ever since that Zargosa rebellion, that demanded our independence from the main clan... well.. let's just say, we're on our own now. The Ash District has a reputation for being a slum, and not a very wealthy or well maintained district. I intend to help change this! I want to help clear brambles, produce better structures, and shops, and help clean up and beautify the surrounding land. If you walk into the Clan de la Noche, they have maintained roads, packed with the local soil, and mushrooms lining the walkways. They have a few outdoor, tent shops like we have here, but they also have full buildings! Imagine.. eating food indoors, where it's actually clean and not raining! Anyways, there is a lot of comparisons we can make, and not good ones! We have to do something to clean up out part of town! The Moonrunner camp can do whatever they want with their side for now... I guess. I still need to garner support for my cause. But first, I have to get dragons here to actually care. Right now they're more worried about feeding themselves with the support from the main clan gone, than they are about the bramble walls and such. Perhaps starting with the bramble walls is the best thing we can do! I might have to find volunteers from the Clan de la Noche, but that shouldn't be too bad? I hope...

I was allowed entry into the Clan de la Noche to petition for help for the Ash District. The guard seemed rather uninterested in my story, but I really needed to get to the clan leader. Or I thought I did... turns out the clan leader has no sympathy for our plight. Well... to be fair, we did demand to be independent, and we demanded this through blood so... I suppose the Ash District does kinda deserve it? But the thing is, not everyone feels the same way. I know there were many dragons out there that didn't support the Moonrunners when they started their uprising, and a few who got swept away by the fear of the uprising. Maybe I can convince her somehow... but at the moment she seems like she's about to rip my throat out. I should probably leave before she gets too agitated with me. Instead, I will examine the bramble walls, the park, and the roads for ideas. I think new buildings will have to wait... but a food storage facility perhaps...

While researching the Clan de la Noche, I discovered they actually keep live animals in the clangrounds! They have more food than they actually need, so they grow plants and keep the animals so they can keep them fresh, and it grows more over time as they do this! That means... more meat, and more food! They even have farmers dedicated to keeping these live foodstuffs in good shape... I wonder if something like this would be a good early addition to the Ash District. It might help solve the hunger problems we've been having.. but where would I get the livestock and volunteers. I know dragons in the Ash District need jobs... hm.. I could create jobs for them!

I've decided the best way to try and get support for my clan cause, is to attempt to become their leader. I don't want to force myself in like Zargosa did, but I will try to show my support for the Ash District, and perhaps these dragons would choose me as their leader. If they did choose me, then I could finally start working on improving this clan like it really deserves! Yes... I think this is the perfect idea, I will try to become the clan's elected leader!
