The Moonrunner thugs had absolutely no vision for the future. How are you supposed to survive if you have a slum of a clan, with a food shortage, and nobody to rob? I mean really... those criminals are exactly why criminals should be disposed of. The Ash District will not remain a pirate haven on my watch. We will be a respectable clan. I decided to be the first, and most vocal supporter of Ciudades as mayor. We need someone who cares about our future, and not just our present. Someone who truly understands what being independent means. And perhaps we will eventually regain Sombra's support, since now we're pretty much neighbors with a grudge. At the very least, we'll need her respect.

We've already started to get dragons some jobs. A few managers of the bramble walls, and road management. A few others tasked with fishing... We also started building our own farm, and have workers hired for that job too. We don't really have the funds to take off yet, but we will find a way to get our feet under us. Eventually...

The Moonrunner Gang is clearly not pleased by our attempts to swoop leadership out from under their chaos. But without their chaos we wouldn't have to take a stand. It's a good thing I'm trained in combat tactics... I think we might need it. It also turns out the Clan de la Noche may have built a secure prison... I think we might benefit from one, maybe not as secure... but definitely keep these thugs under control for a short time while we fix this mess.
