S U M M A R Y

Fandango is considered an enigma by most. Everyone knows he is Chaugmar's closest friend and therefore holds a position of power in the clan, but nobody is sure how he got a position of such high regard with such a strange personality. Fandango mostly keeps to himself, and every social interaction he's a part of just feels a bit... off.

He's eerily cheerful about dark situations and takes pleasure in the despair of others. Fandango often causes trouble in Etruria with strange illusions and dark magic and his love for the macabre. Chaugmar doesn't seem to mind how Fandango acts, and Parthia, Quin, and Mercurius know that they wouldn't be able to keep him in check if they wanted to. Fandango isn't actually looking to cause trouble, he's often just looking to have fun. The only problem is what Fandango considers fun, others find horrifying and disgusting.

Fandango has always lacked social skills; when he and Chaugmar were younger the two bonded initially over not being able to connect with others. Fandango was so thankful to have had someone to talk to and to call a friend after so long of having no one. A lot of Fandango's past before meeting Chaugmar is a mystery to others. In truth, Fandango wasn't raised by his parents, but by a pack of umbra wolves. They took him in, appearing around him in the shadows after he had been abandoned. They raised him as one of their own, but they were killed in battle protecting him.

Fandango traveled for a long time alone after this, learning how to communicate with the dragons he came in contact with during his travels, but never sticking with them or settling down anywhere. Chaugmar was the first dragon who he ever truly connected with. Having finally found a place to call home in Etruria Fandango now has many others in his life whom he considers to be his friends. His wife, Holly, is one example. Fandango would do anything for her, his devotion runs so deep. Many often wonder what Holly sees in him, and even when she tells them all the things Fandango does for her, many still doubt her, but in any case their love for each other is as undeniable as it is unusual.

G O A L S

Fandango spends a lot of time in Chaugmar's chambers relaying information about his day and the fun he's had to his apathetic friend. Chaugmar deeply appreciates his visits, despite his inability to show as much in his reactions. Fandango doesn't seem to mind or be deterred by this. He intends to keep his friend company for as long as they're both around and to stay by Chaugmar's side no matter where he goes or what he does. Fandango also intends to have as much fun as he can, no matter how macabre others might find the 'fun'.
