The nation of Valentia is made up of four nations The dragons who reside here are all of one clan, despite the distance between them. Chaugmar, the emperor, and his mate Parthia, the empress, have the final say in what happens in the nation. The acting leaders of each nation have to answer to Chaugmar or Parthia should they seek to cause trouble for Valentia.

The capitol of Etruria, is home to the emperor and empress, Chaugmar and Parthia, as well as Lord Quintavius and Lady Anja. As such, Chaugmar and Quin work together closely, keeping everyone in Etruria happy. While Chaugmar could lead himself, he would prefer Quin to act in his stead due to his own remorseful past. Etruria is full of dragons who desire knowledge and understanding of the world around them.

Etruria's neighboring nation is Caelin. Led by Lord Mercurius and Lady Amalthea. Caelin is full of Sorineth and especially Valentian history that is carefully kept in it's library at the castle. Many dragons here have an interest in research as a result. Caelin and Etruria's lords are close friends and as such share a lot with one another. In essence, the two nations are virtually one. This closeness has allowed Mercurius and Quin to continue to help one another lead their respective nations.

To the south lies Rigel, a struggling nation in Valentia. A land that has recently gone through a difficult war and had a change in leadership. As a result of the war, and difficult circumstances, King Rudolf's life was taken by his own son, Alm. After learning the truth Alm, rescinded the Rigelian throne to his cousin, Berkut. In turn, Berkut, and his mate Rinea, have rekindled life in the nation and have been retuning law and order to a war-torn nation. Pirates still remain as a looming threat seeking to take advantage of the current chaotic state of affairs. Berkut seeks to put an end to them to prove Alm made the right choice in leaving the nation in Berkut's care.

Further south, and roughly equidistant from Rigel and Etruria, is Zofia. It is ruled by Alm and Celica who both have vowed to restore the war torn nation to its former state of prosperity under the blessings of the goddess Mila. Even now with the gods slumbering in Arcadia, Alm and Celica believe they can change Zofia and Rigel both for the better and prevent another disastrous war from taking place.
