You'll see the flicker of a tail, or a blink of quiet eyes from the shadows. If you happen upon the Matriarch as she's taking court, you might do a double-take and realize that the shadow behind her is not quite a shadow at all, but a twisting and spinning vortex of a Spiral. He notices you watching him, and with a clever grin, winks at you, and disappears. |

S T O R Y
Every court needs a spymaster, someone who knows a little more than they should and someone that makes you question if your secrets are truly as hidden as you think they are. Maimri is that individual. He can tell you what's happening in other clans, other parts of the world, or what's happening under your own nose.
Maimri was one of the first recruits when Yrvylth started her clan. Hailing from the Tangled Wood, Maimri's origins are largely unknown. He simply arrived, offered his services, and pledged his loyalty and allegiance. Not once has he turned Yrvylth and her court wrong, though everyone knows better than to truly trust him. After all, information is his currency, and if it will protect the clan, sometimes a secret or two must be shared. He is not without heart, though. Maimri is often found guiding new clanmembers to their chambers, or assisting them when they find themselves lost. He has a long list of lovers as he is never one to turn down a possibly diplomatic tryst, and has sired children with the healer Evneth, the shieldmaiden Delight, and even the Matriarch herself. His favorite, however, seems to be the mystic Ceminth, despite her oddity. Rumors have it that he is assisting her in returning her to her natural state before she became an Oracle, though none are sure exactly why he has such an attachment to her.
