Tano

Tano always acted older than his age and grew up more quickly than his siblings. Unlike his younger sister, Inari, Tano looks older than he really is. He was blessed by the Lightweaver at birth with eyes that could see the truth in other's hearts. This skill is part of why he acts older than he appears. With his sister he started up the Sakura Chashitsu tea house. As the host, Tano is the one who often interacts with the guests the most. He takes great pride in serving the tea in the proper manner, although sometimes his sister Inari takes up the duties as hostess. She often will play the shamisen as Tano serves tea and he enjoys listening to her play.

Tano has interests outside of the tea service. He takes great pride in growing many of the herbs for the tea himself and while he shares some of them with Sachiel, the rest he guards jealously. His herbal blends are different recipes of his own creation. Occasionally he offers his talents with growing things to the agriculturalists. Tano's green thumb is such that he can get almost anything to grow, although most things grown outside of their native boundaries will start to wilt and fade if not directly under his care.

Like his sibling, Tano has a mischievous side to him. Usually, though, it is darker in nature and aimed towards those he feels have wronged him or those he cares about. Inari is the only one capable of calming him down when he is on a campaign against someone.

Never seen without his pearl, Tano is very protective of it.

Name Origin: Tano was named after the Japanese god of the paddy fields. Also the male form of the goddess Inari. Foxes are considered to be his messengers.
