Wellivia

Wellivia is a warrior. She came to the clan with the singular purpose of using mighty fire techniques to protect the defenseless, and to grow stronger in power. She is a lovely knight, with a righteous heart and bravery only outmatched by her affection. She has a soft spot for most living things and loves nature.
Since arriving into the clan, she has gotten along with most of the dragons, and has made a home for herself among them. Being a knight and a protector, she interacts often with the other dragons that train, protect, aid in battle, and guard the royal family. In fact she hopes to lead the royal guard herself.

Wellivia is very appreciative to be in such company, being both praised by Blueberry and Verdis for being a very fair and understanding lady warrior. She works together with prince Baltazar, Lester, Shade and Verdis, typically helping them recover from battle and aiding them in it if need be, much like Alabaster.

Upon first arriving in the clan, she was also met with the king's warm affection and though flattered that he thinks her beautiful, she appeared to have eyes for only Wrathorwell.

Yes, you heard that correctly, Wrathorwell. The entomologist and general of the clan's soldiery. King Voelcifus immediately approved of such a pairing, and set them both up to meet and get to know one another. Likewise embarrassed, she managed to break the very thin ice between them, and learned more about the brave bug-loving spiral. Unlike most who are skittish around bugs, Wellivia didn't seem to think much of bugs, and was surprised to learn more about them from Wrathorwell. And Wrathorwell was delighted to see she was tolerating his ramblings. In actuality, his passion for his study of insects was admirable and very appealing to Wellivia.

It wasn't long before they fell head-over-heels-over-tail-over-head again (because they're spirals) in love with one another. Fittingly and affectionately dubbed "Well-well" by some of the clan's dragons, Wellivia and Wrathorwell are a mated pair.

Now Wellivia's ambition has evolved. She wants to grow as strong as her husband Wrathorwell, so that she can protect the dragons who have graciously let her stay welcome and loved in the clan. And to protect her own family she has with him. She adores her eldest daughter Estelle and her brother Roviere, being pillars of beaming pride for her. She's also quite loving to her twin boys, Westley and Lawrence, but it's not uncommon to see her frustrated with them and scolding them for their tricks. Though Gustav is her dearest child, and she does all she can to encourage his efforts. Despite his small size and his serious demeanor, she is very proud of him.

Wellivia is the matriarch of the Shelltend family, whose name echoes the tenderness underneath the solid and everlasting protection of a shield.
