Although Uragiri is the second of the Four Swords in title, he is often spoken as the "Other First". Despite his abrasing temperament, he is undoubtedly seen as just as capable and deserving of acclaim as Valeria, if not more so. He is also the only one of the Four Swords who still regularly chooses to partake in combat on his free time - also hosting a quinquennial fighting competition amongst the Academy graduates, and personally honoring the sole winner with fantastic rewards. |

S T O R Y
Uragiri has seen many battles in his reputable lifetime, and just as many victories. Scandalous stories could be told about his achievements and triumphs, but the one about "besting a hundred-men army by himself" is the most common to be heard recited.
He habitually misses his days as a paladin, and in a case of an attack, would rather opt to be in the battlefield to protect his clanmates, but obligations bestowed upon him demand different service towards the kingdom. He's quite vocal about his dislike of formal duties behind closed doors, but his fellow companions just see it as a typical banter, which it is. Of the teachers in the Academy, Uragiri is certainly the most demanding. He expects incredible backbone and immalleable spirit from his students, but also from his peers. He is quite difficult to please, and harder to get along with, but his acclaimed methods of teaching are justified of admiration. While his peers may find his practices cruel and over-the-top, they will never find him heartless. After all, Uragiri does really love the Academy, and the upcoming knights and paladins that he trains, most likely more than anyone else in the institute. Carrying the responsibility of teaching the new generation fills him with endless pride, whereas witnessing the students' dedication to the Order and hunger for challenge mitigates his own restless longing for the days that once were. |
