Hayata is the youngest of the Four Swords, but none the less skilled. He comes from a family of wealthy nobles, which granted him access to lavish training at a young age when his talents were first realized. He carries himself with striking elegance, and on account of being atypically lightweight for a wildclaw, appears effortlessly weightless in combat.

Hayata is also nicknamed "Lethal Beauty", and not without reason. With his slender form and well-groomed appearance, old age seems to evade him. Every movement and spoken word is meticulously calculated to uphold a model of poise, not only giving off the impression of prestige, but to some, pompousness. As it stands, of the Four Swords, Hayata is the most prone to arrogance.

Thanks to his diligent training and standards for appearance from an early age, the wildclaw is plagued with perfectionism to the point of obsessiveness. Settling for no less than the best of the best, upholding strict standards for himself often leave him restless in the face of mediocrity. He's an overachiever to the end, even if his own health depended on it - and, in turn, doesn't care to hide his pride about it.

Hayata quite enjoys the royal privileges his new duties have allowed him, but does miss his days as a paladin. He had always been a natural born talent in academics as well as in combat, and his strong ambition to be the very best well elevated his name into brilliance.
