Raw Jade 		An academic at the University of the Astrolodome, Jade is a PhD candidate in the field of Paranormal Studies. Her thesis is on peaceful cohabitation between living dragons and ghosts; an area in which there is little academic research, as most studies focus on the destructive potential of ghosts, and related paranormal entities.

As part of her research, Jade conducts field work among dragon clans dwelling peacefully in or around haunted sites, gathering first-hand data on ghost-living dragon cohabitation.

Studying ley line data from the Oculus of the Eleven, Jade identified a small spike in paranormal activity along the border of the Crystalspine Reaches, and the Starwood Strand. As this area is also highly populated with living dragons, she figured it was a good site for her field work.

This brought Jade to Ariel’s Castle.

Her preliminary observations of the clan in and around Ariel’s Castle are as follows:
  • Spectre, a wildclaw, shows signs of being a ghost. His proximity to the coast, and water flight allegiance, may suggest an unquiet drowning victim. However, evidence is still inconclusive. The dragons around him treat him as a regular dragon.
  • Cedar, a wildclaw, appears to be a sapient tree, and not a dragon at all. While not a ghost per se, he may be a related paranormal entity. The dragons around him treat him as a regular dragon.
  • Paranormal energy levels suggest a haunted site in the foundations of Ariel’s Castle. Anecdotal evidence indicate there is a haunted crypt. Jade is yet to receive coherent directions to the entrance to this crypt. Further investigation is needed.
  • Paranormal energy level suggest a haunted object or objects in Lizbet’s Library. Anecdotal evidence indicates the Library was in remarkably pristine condition when Lizbet took custody of it; particularly when compared to Ariel’s Castle. This could be a sign of paranormal custodianship. Further investigation is needed.
  • Lizbet’s Library houses an excellent collection of ghost stories. This has provided hours of entertainment. It is unclear whether it is of relevance to the study of ghost-living dragon cohabitation. Further reading will be conducted.
