Biography
Seraphim ; Stoic | Protective | Regretful ; Fernweh
Seraphim are the most powerful angels of Fernweh. It is their duty to be the mouth pieces of the Creators. They are trusted with Knowledge no other angels are allowed to have. They are expected to withhold this Knowledge until the time is right. They usually are to stay within certain posts and are forbidden to leave them. The Seraphim are to stay still and silent unless the Creators command them to speak with their powerful voices.
The Seraphim are mysterious forces even to other angels, and most angels are unlikely to encounter a Seraph.
Yetunth is a Seraph that disobeyed their Creator and nearly Fell. They were entrusted with the knowledge of the fate of a Cherub named Aretha. What they saw they could not ignore. They left their post without the permission of their Creator and they used their voice to save Aretha from violent forces.
But Yetunth's voice did more than destroy the violent forces. Their voice left an entire planet vacant of life. What was once a world bustling with activity now stood still. Trillions of lives died in an instant. Billions of species no longer existed because Yetunth opened their mouth. Sapient species gone. Multicellular, singled celled, artificial. All gone. Billions of years of evolution, disintegrated without even a warning. Ideas that were meant to someday be written down were snuffed out with the lives that created them. Memories and fantasies alike disappeared in an instant. No more stories would be told on that planet. No more emotion would be felt. It was all but a husk. It was now an archaeological mystery for a space faring race sometime in the future. And it was all because of Yetunth.
Yetunth was stripped of their Seraphim duties and ordered to assist Haibaraad on their mission investigating anomalies on Sornieth. So that Yetunth did not disobey again, celestial wind chimes were bound to their wings and neck. The sound of the chimes hurt their sensitive ears, and if they were to use their voice again the chimes are to emit a high pitched noise.
On Sornieth Yetunth has taken the form of a tundra, with their main secondary form being a sorrel gryphlet. They are unhappy about their current situation, but they wish to complete the mission as soon as possible so that they can redeem themself and return to their Seraphim duties.
They feel guilty over the destruction of the planet they unleashed their voice on, but they refuse to be regretful for saving Aretha. Sadly, Yetunth was not entirely successful at saving Aretha.
There is something very wrong with the Cherub.
