About me 
Hello! I'm winter, I thought I should do one of these? I don't have a 'sona/self dragon, so Cass here will hold this for now.

My preferred pronouns are she/her or they/them, both are good. For my dragons, you can assume their preference is reflected by their pose, unless otherwise noted in their bio. They/them always works for any dragon in my lair if you are unsure c:Communication

I prefer FR for communication, my message box here is always open. Pings are always welcome too! While I do use discord, I don't prefer to use it for FR unless its necessary for an event I'm participating in. I just prefer the pace and organization of onsite communication.- Though I may be casual when interacting about casual topics, I do like to be clear and specific when talking about trades, sales, commissions and the like. Please don't worry if I switch between communication styles, and please don't hesitate about writing too much or asking me for clarification. More is better than less for me!
- If I don't respond to you, its nothing personal. Sometimes I just forget, or I don't have the mental bandwidth to reply even if I'd like to. I do strive for clear and respectful communication and timely replies for things like dragon sales & art commissions, which means prioritizing that over chatting about fandoms or lore projects sometimes, even if I would rather respond. Feel free to poke me after a couple of days if you'd like, and thank you in advance for your understanding <3 I also extend the same understanding to others. Pleas don't stress about replying to our conversations or reaching out after a short or long period of silence.

My favorite hobbies on FR are coming up with breeding projects, making art and writing lore, browsing other people's beautiful lairs, and creating bespoke pairs and selling their hatchlings. I am a dominance casual and you're more likely to find me making badges or doing foddart, than earning them. That said I do grind coli when I'm on calls for work and am definitely a bit of an exalting lair.

Feel free to contact me about past commissions at any time, completed or not. I do my best to complete each art commission in a timely manner. Depending upon complexity and workflow, my turnaround time is usually 1-4 weeks. If I can't complete a commission, I will always return payment. While I do strive to communicate openly and clearly, things sometimes happen on either end. If it has been a while since you or I responded to a communication, please reach out.- If I did art for you hosted on discord, feel free to ask for a new file! Likewise, feel free to poke me with a new version of something, or simply let me know if there's a broken image somewhere. Sometimes they're cached and I don't know they've broken for a while!
- I'm working on setting up a new art shop offering dragon headshots. In the future I may offer/ you might bribe me with items or art trades: pixels, "bootleg" fr items, busts, fullbody, gijinkas, landscapes and lair or lore locations
- I'm open to inquiries about art trades, though I may prioritize finishing current commissions. I rarely reach out because tbh I'm a bit scared, but I do welcome if you want to reach out to me!

About me
- I am an adult, and while I enjoy being casual and silly, and initiating random acts of kindness sometimes, am definitely not trying to pass myself off as younger than I am or interacting with any context other than "pixel dragons / compulsive generosity is fun". I've recently removed my age from my profile since FR seems to prefer that in their guidelines, but suffice to say I'm just a lady who is here to have fun with the shiny pixel dragons because they give me dopamine.
- I've had a lot of unique jobs including: working in a bakery, in a theme park, and conducting ecological surveys. In my free time I also enjoy art, writing and editing and have done some freelance editing work for ttrpgs. I work from home currently, so I have a lot of time to be on FR, though I may not be able to respond right away.
- Sometimes I just take a hiatus for a few months or a year, again, not personal. (Well it is, me doing my personal thing c:) Feel free to contact me even if I haven't been around as long as you don't mind a potentially very delayed response

- I like to do art and write and I've been kicking around a while, if you know the name winterly or winterbright, yeah its probably me!
- FR is the only pet sim site I'm active on these days though.
- iNaturalist - I love identifying species around me and documenting them, as well as exploring other regions in the world by looking at the wildlife found there. Like an irl pokedex meets citizen science! Don't go to this site if there's animals you don't want to see pictures of! (i.e. snakes, spiders, bugs) they may be on the front page.
- Pokemon (I helped my partner write and test a pen and paper Pokemon TTRPG and we designed our own fan region over the last couple of years, idk if anyone is interested but I love it dearly)
- Pokemon TCG Live - I just started playing in 2024. If you want a friend to play some casual mathes against, hit me up! I'm pieshake on there c:

- I have a very great love for black cats, white dogs, hummingbirds, tropical fish and houseplants <3
- I love mixing my own paint pigments and nail polish and have been experimenting with natural dyes and growing a dye garden. I just love color a lot, the feelings and stories it can invoke and expressing myself through color. I think that's a big reason I love FR, it combines pet simming and playing with color to express oneself and I find it endlessly enjoyable.
