Captain of the Unreliable, technically. Generally a happy and friendly sort, prone to joking, he tries his absolute best to do right by everyone. But he's knew to the Halcyon colony, and can only make guesses based on what sounds right. And he realizes later he ends up messing so much up along the way. Although not very bright, he grows a bit more on his journey and realizes he does have a knack for certain things, not that he gives himself credit for them. He's painfully aware he was probably the worst person to pull from Hope, as he has no skills or experiences to really make him worth anything. In the end, people believe he should be the de facto head of Halcyon but he's not so keen to be on any sort of leadership role. He helps find the proper people for the job and returns to the Unreliable. He still helps where he can but his brains sort of fried after everything. Filled constantly with worry. Visits crewmates often to check up on them and make sure they're getting along ok.
