Bubblegum

((Clan Role: Garden keeper/ Farmer))

A lovely looking specimen, like his father,
Bubblegum is the clan's gardener and fruit farmer. He's a timid and soft-spoken guy, with a soft heart and even softer temperament.

Poor Bubblegum can't seem to stand up for himself or be assertive in any way. Though he often prefers to be alone anyway, he does find enjoyable company with others. He doesn't talk as much as he listens, which makes him a very likeable comforter, but he has shown he is uncomfortable with consoling all the time.
Much to the dismay of his father, Alabaster, he has found an interest in flowers and making teas and fruit mixes. Though his father wants him to focus on his studies in the library and learn by exploring, Bubblegum seems to lean more towards his mother's line of expertise, and helps her grow tea to share with others.
Though he is very loved and adored and nurtured, he often feels very alone.
He has made friends with Ceasar and Oyster however. And he does enjoy arts and crafts.
You don't need to walk on eggshells around him, but he isn't used to talking more than two minutes at a time. Actions speak much louder to him, and he appreciates the little gestures.

He also seemed to have an interest in Verdis ever since he arrived into the clan...it was a shame he couldn't muster up the courage to talk to him for very long. He wished he wasn't so nervous around him and behaved more confidently. Not that he is intimidated by Verdis. Far from it at all. He just couldn't bring himself to confess his feelings for him.

He was by Verdis' side for a while, having to nurse him back to health, as Verdis fell very ill one day. He kept him comfortable and healthy for days and days. Bubblegum didn't want Verdis to feel terrible, and if he could he would battle the sickness himself to get it to leave him alone. He was an excellent nurse, and brought Verdis anything he needed to help alleviate his symptoms and make him well again. Though he never mustered up the courage to confess his feelings for him while alone together.

But one day, he didn't need to, as Verdis visited him in the garden to thank him for helping him through his illness and keeping him company. Then he proposed they should be mates. Bubblegum felt a little silly that he was chosen and given gifts, being male himself, but he accepted simply because he couldn't refuse such a handsome and thoughtful ridgeback. (Not to mention he had been crushing on him since they were both hatchlings!)
Now mates with Verdis, Bubblegum is much happier and has grown in confidence and assertiveness, thanks to Verdis' support and helpful guidance. He has become more comfortable around the clan's other dragons, and though he and his father are still at odds with one another, he has found solace in accepting that he is different but himself. He also finds his interactions with his little half-sister Riley, and younger ruffian brother Crossbones to be easier to deal with too.
Bubblegum now has a charming little daughter to care for, along with Verdis in peace and happiness.
