Verdis

((Clan Role: Diplomat/ Ambassador/ Knight))

Verdis is one of the clan's bravest protectors. Atop of having a fearless attitude towards nearly anything, his charisma also knows no limits. He is often seen socializing with other dragons in the clan, big and small, and even gifting them things he knows they might need. A new apron for Dulce, better delivery pouches for the clan couriers, even something fluffy and amusing for king Voelcifus himself. He seems to be one of the only dragons to get on everyone's good side. And favors are easy to achieve and ask for in return for him. Though he is genuine with a sense of integrity he maintains, he has a mischievous side. He knows his bounds, his standings, and his temperament with every dragon, even ones he has never met before.
He is very aware of who can take a joke, and who can't.

A natural lightning dragon, he gets a thrill from storms, and is always out and about on patrol when a thunderstorm is brewing. It might seem crazy, and a little concerning, but Verdis sometimes even makes it his mission to fly through storms. It's one of his only things only he can do safely.

He is a young dragon, with a lovely complexion not unlike an enchanted forest. Naturally this is a very welcome sight for the eyes of the female dragons of the clan. He often is compared to sweetgrass, and juicy beetles, as well as spring itself. Though not much of a written poet, he is great at improvisation and has the best silver tongue in the clan. Very fitting indeed, seeing as he was appointed as the clan's main diplomat. It isn't well known, but he often gets tired of hogging attention and sometimes just wishes for some time alone at peace with nature and the sky.

He's taken a liking to the clan's gardens, maintained of course by Bubblegum and RubyBones. They were a nice place to escape, relax and stop to smell the roses. He noticed poor Bubblegum fumbling around him, totally aware of his crush on him. Though he never really gave much thought to a mate, he did like something about Bubblegum, besides his pleasant aroma. Verdis liked the unassuming and patient way Bubblegum would treat him, unlike the many other dragons in the clan who gave him attention aggressively and constantly. Bubblegum didn't seem to have a good side or a bad side, and just appeared to be neutrally peaceful, like one of his many flowers. Verdis knew he would also likely be just as fragile.

He didn't begin to truly fall in love with him until he got sick. Very sick. Elva had not yet become the clan's doctor, so Bubblegum along with his mom was left to watch over him and help him recover. Bubblegum acted as his personal nurse, and because Verdis was so sick, he felt Bubblegum had saved his life. He appreciated him even more from then on, and from the days alone together, he had wished to never really recover so he would see him all the time.

Upon speaking to him, after a full recovery, Verdis offered him his own proposal, as well as a gift of a dozen whole roses ready to plant. Surprised that Bubblegum actually accepted, Verdis had no idea how their courtship would be established, and just left all to be sorted on its own. He adores Bubblegum now as his own loyal mate, and often visits to stay and rest with him in the peace of the garden. (Though he is a little embarrassed once Bubblegum covers him in a ton of flowers, or kisses.)
