~Tea Recommendations Representing Each Flight!~

"Tea for the Fire flight must always be piping hot, and served steaming. Tea warms the whole body and is something fire dragons find comforting. I think Ginger Root and Lemonspice, Turmeric, Marshmallow Root, Peppermint, and Cinnamon blends fit the Fire flight the best. All benefit the stomach and stimulate healthy appetite, digestion, as well as help with overall good breathing and prevention of inflammation. A good tea for one who can summon fire from within them."

She shows off some of her dried teas from her wings. "The Tea the Water flight might find most favorable would be perhaps blends of Jasmine, Pomegranate, Orange Peel, Blackberry and other fruit blends with gentle, refreshing flavors, warm or cold. These teas promote harmony in the body, and do well to increase the health of the heart, bloodflow and the cleansing of toxins. Water is a naturally healing flight that always adapts and ventures into deep places such as the center of a dragon themselves."

She shows another. "The Tea for the Nature flight would of course be all tea, hehe, as they're all made with natural substances in nature, but that isn't to say all tea would represent the Nature flight. As a part of my mother element, I can safely say that the Nature flight is all about growth, good health, and overall wellness to thrive for as long as possible. Green tea is a definite choice as it is a miracle tea which calms and promotes overall wellness throughout the body. For a flight which is the richest green, Green tea, along with Echinacea, Wildberry, and Nettle Leaf, which do well to refresh the body, lessen the effect of allergies and prevent all sorts of diseases, which of course is the Nature flight's main weakness. These teas might not all taste too pleasant, but add a little honey and you should be fine!"

She sighs. "I apologize if this is so long. I'm really quite passionate about tea you know. Though I don't very much see the Plague flight even trying a cup, I suppose there must be some tea that can represent...hmm.." she looks about her wings for a dried tea and takes one. "I suppose any root tea would be fitting for both Nature and Plague, as some plants become infected at the root. Or mushroom teas, which could be both beneficial or harmful if one does not carefully brew out any toxins. Cold tea that has gone bad I think would be most favored, tasting awfully sour or very off. Though I would not recommend drinking old tea, because as it ages in the water, it breaks down and clouds and sometimes, depending on the tea, if it ages it might become poisonous and harmful. In fact, some might contain harmful bacteria, which is no good! I presume this is what the Plague flight revels in, and so, any old, aged tea would be best for them."

RubyBones takes a breath and huffs, plucking out a nicer tea. "For the Light Flight, I think the teas which reflect them best are these. Chamomile, Vanilla, Rose Hip, Peach Hibiscus and White teas all have calming, cleansing properties much like the water flight, but promote inner peace, warmth and harmony. These teas also taste quite pleasant and also contain many antioxidants which help overall bloodflow and heart health within. With the Light flight centered in truth, justice, peace, and the light within hearts, I think these teas would suit the Light flight well!"

She looks across at another one. "Ohh, the Shadow flight might be a bit tricky. Indeed, I can see some not really caring for tea. But I know there are some teas which could be consumed for their benefit. Blueberry, Sarsaparilla Root, Chicory Root, and Rooibos all have a pleasantly defined taste and darker color to them. Many of them are also good for digestion, metabolism and help with slowing age. Though beware, if one is allergic to any of these teas, you may be in for a nasty little trick rather than a soothing treat. Which I think the Shadow flight likes. A little mystery, but a comfort in darkness."

She smiles at a tea blend next to her hip. "Speaking of darkness, I think this might be the perfect blend for those in the Lightning Flight! Black tea. It contains all sorts of wonderful benefits, but most notably, caffeine. I'm aware many in the Lightning flight work hard and work long, ignoring their exhaustion. Though I would recommend slowing down and getting rest, sometimes their energy is quite tireless. Black tea can boost heart health which might be important in a Lightning dragon to keep working and functioning. I suppose Astragalus would also represent the Lightning flight, as it promotes reducing fatigue and increases overall performance and longevity. Though Lemon tea also might have a bit of a sour kick to it, akin to a zapping shock of alertness, hmhm! With some honey, these teas will give you an electrifying boost of energy."

She looks to another blend on her wing. "The blend of Tea I can see representing the Wind flight might be this here. Ginko leaf, Hyssop, Slippery Elm Bark, Wild Cherry, Eucalyptus and especially Thyme. All do good in a warm cup, with or without some sweet honey, to open the lungs and circulate breathing. I believe the breath and air is most important to the Wind flight, as well as moving about. Well, these teas also have a little lightness to them and encourage a freshness that might turn into a cleansing energy. Breathing clearly is important after all, and these teas like the Wind flight promote healthy lungs and quick relief to breathing ailments."

RubyBones looks to her tail. "Oh, have I not mentioned yet the Earth flight? Well, then I suppose, erm." She looks a little clueless. "Goodness. Well, I suppose you can't brew any rocks or dirt, can you? Though perhaps...yes! I can see Turmeric! Turmeric tea is wonderful for inflammation and pain relief and has a very earthy texture and taste. Unlike Asparagus Root, Turmeric tastes much better, though it does not have as many minerals as Asparagus Root does. It also contains much fiber. I believe the Earth flight does promote outer strength and the excavation of minerals to sow and reap. Though not overly earthy in taste, Ginseng Root is better for a blend, and Willow Bark, along with again Ginger Root. With the Earth flight handling much stonework and heavy loads, tea to alleviate joint and back pain that has an earthy taste might be most representative of the Earth flight."

She then shakes her head with a sigh. "I suppose the Ice flight prefers their tea chilled. Though it's not a bad idea to have iced tea when it is warm. It's healthy and refreshing. Though I wish the Fire flight knew that...anyway, the Tea I can picture reflecting the Ice flight might be Lemon Green Tea, Wintermint, Licorice Root, Elderberry, Apple Cinnamon, and Orange Peel with Eucalyptus. All of these teas do good in combating chills, cold and illness from the winter, as well as relieve your body in a cool refreshing cleanse! Things like Licorice can also relieve digestive upset that could make your chest pained, tight and burning. Some of these teas are also quite sweet, and whether cold or warm are refreshing and work fast and strong, just like a coming frost."

RubyBones lets out a relieved breath and smiles sweetly. "Lastly, but not least, the Arcane flight. The Tea blend I can see reflecting the flight of Arcane, might be this. Comfrey, Rosemary, Sage, Meadowsweet flower, Oolong and Raspberry are all teas which promote brain health, longevity, and harmonious energy. I don't think I've met a single dragon that hates the taste of Raspberry, and Raspberry is a fruit with much to offer, very much like the Arcane flight. Also, Comfrey tea is quite unusual, and not too much is known of it's risks, however, it has been consumed for it's healing properties and the strengthening of teeth and skin. The other teas have all kinds of multiple uses and are not your typical go-tos, however, the Arcane flight I can see with a driving ambition for greatness might also benefit from the Ginger, Green, Tumeric and Black teas they might also take a chance in trying out! I sure hope so. I think tea is perfect any time of day for any sort of ailment or any sort of improvement!"
