B I O G R A P H Y

The dragon known by many as Skinwalker was once spoken of in every corner in hushed tones laced with fear. The legends spoke of how he could walk quieter than an insect, transform into many forms to disguise himself, and even possess the bodies of others in order to lure them to their doom. He always sought the thrill of the kill; sometimes he did it on request for payment, sometimes at random as his heart desired.

All this changed until the day he decided to target a young mage-in-training. He thought they would be an easy target, a quick slaughter with plenty of time to hide. What he did not expect, was that the moment he was about to strike, and the mage was threatened for his life, the mage awoke a strange and new power to them both; Empathy magic. Magic that allowed Skinwalker to feel, for the first time, what it truly meant to be at the opposite end of his blades. Where he had the thrill of the kill, his victim had the dread of death.

The shock from the moment allowed the young mage to run away, terrified of what he had just wrought and of Skinwalker's very tangible emotions. but the assassin could do nothing more but fall to his knees and be paralyzed with moral awe. He'd never truly understood the consequences of his actions until that moment. And no that he did... he was horrified at himself.

To run from his sins, he renounced his name and his past, willingly stripping himself of the reputation he once reveled in, so he may hope to find a home that won't know of his past and judge him. So now he travels across Sornieth in the hopes of finding a clan to grant him enough trust and hospice so he may prove himself.

After what felt like years of travel and searching, he found a clan in the Shoredeep Presage willing to give him a chance, on the condition that he must commit his loyalty by changing his name, like all others, to one that starts with G. As a show of good faith, he did just that, changing his name to Geulah, as a sign of his redemption. He was welcomed, but still watched for any trouble. He joined the ranger guild, putting his stealth to good use, and occasionally joined the mages to practice his magic. He soon became acquainted with other dragons; Gardenia, who was a ranger-mage like himself, Gracyanne the entertainer, Gonymahon and Ghost the Alchemists... With time, he gained the clan's trust, and became a part of it.

Except for the Progenitor Council, nobody knew the truth of Geulah's past. Nobody, except one. A sage Coatl, of similar colors to himself; she was also of the Arcane, but more so... she had the blessing of multi-gaze eyes. Fittingly, her name was Gaze, and she saw through him as easily as one may read a book. Gaze told him this one day, asking him why he came to the clan; Geulah feared she may expose him, or at the very least hate him, and told her the truth. But to his surprise... she acted cordial towards him, being kind and treating him like any other. She saw the truthfulness in his heart and gave him a chance to prove it to the world. For this, Geulah was forever grateful, and this allowed them to bond and become mates.
