DESCRIPTION
The aloof and rough-around-the-edges protector of the Clan. He refuses to talk about his past any more than nescessary- though it doesn't sound that extreme. He is a dragon of few words and many actions; usually battle. He intimidates many of the hatchlings and young dragons that pass through without realizing. When he learns that he's scared someone, he's more than happy to quietly leave a gift as an apology.

Darkshard is the leader of the Clan's Coliseum team. He is the one to take out younger dragons and ensure their safety. Whenever Lumin is free he enjoys venturing deeper into danger with her, where she gets her frustration out and he doesn't have to worry so much about grevious injuries.
In truth, Darkshard is unsure about his name choice. He feels it's rather "silly" compared to the more reasonable names in the Clan- but he chose it himself, and for now he's sticking with it. Besides, he can't afford the paperwork to rename himself.

When he first came to Clan Hydromancy, he did not believe a word of their mystic nonsense. He knew of elemental powers and respected the enhanced abilities of Arcane, but none of this "star magic" or "future telling" or "weird powers that aren't understood." He was a mercenary looking to make some treasure, but he found himself smitten with a certain pearly coatl dragon and offered to help train Clan Hydromancy dragons for a discount. Well, now he has a mate, and a weird collection of dragons far more powerful than him that look up to him to protect them anyways.
