Sokina is one of the clan's archivists and formerly a Plague doctor, who retired due to undisclosed circumstances. He specializes in documenting all things Plague and health-related in the clan. His main contacts are Lucretia and Gauvain, and he often surveys the infirmary. His companion is a well-trained Death Seeker, used to deliver messages to clan mates he can't easily reach in person.

Sokina is often treated with the respect of an elder among his clan mates, but, due to the unpredictable lifespans of Imperials in general, who's to know if he is truly "old" or not?

His closest friend is Murkara.
