Unabashed

Unabashed is one of four hatchlings, the son of two beautiful dragons. Two stayed in their home clan to be with their parents, each one beautiful in the variance of their colours. He and his remaining sister found no such solace, with colours too discordant to find any harmony in the eyes of their beautiful family. Unabashed and Chicken parted ways on the same day. Eventually, Chicken found her way into the service of the Lightweaver, but Unabashed wasn't content to live his life in service to one of the Eleven.

He found his way to the Traveling Clan, and was welcomed as genially as any other dragon, but he had hardly settled by the fire before he was approached by a Bogsneak of such garish colours that he was immediately entranced. She introduced herself as BoastfulWretch, and just as he was beginning to find an easy rhythm in their conversation, she called over another Imperial dragon with colours just as mismatched as hers.

The attraction that they clearly felt towards him was unreciprocated for a time, but they spent more and more time together, and it wasn't long before he was showing his own affection towards each of them. It was only when BoastfulWretch had her next clutch of eggs that he realized exactly what he'd found - a home where he could see harmony in the eyes of his beautiful family.
