Biography

IntestinalWyrm is an ugly dragon, born of ugly dragons. His siblings, finding no place in Sornieth, joined the ranks of the Exalted, but IntestinalWyrm was determined to stay and find a place for him.

It took months of wandering, and more than once he reconsidered his stance on being an acolyte of one of the Eleven, but he knew this was the shape of his sadness, and not his true wishes.

When he stumbled into the Traveling Clan, he had expected it to be another stop on his journey, just a temporary reprieve from the loneliness that now felt so natural that it felt no different than the ringlets that patterned his skin. The Traveling Clan welcomed him(as he later learned they welcomed all travelers), and gave him a place by the fire, and some fresh food and drink.

It was then that he saw her, a Bogsneak with colours as bold(no, bolder) than his own, her skin marked with the crackled genes that so many dragons were ashamed to bear. And yet, no shame showed in her poise and grace - if anything, she was proud.

He was speaking to her before he realized what he was doing, and their chemistry was instantaneous. It wasn't long before they had their first nest, and he was proud of her for raising their hatchlings to know that their worth wasn't in their colours or their genes, but something deeper and more profound.

As their relationship continued, another Imperial dragon arrived, and IntestinalWyrm knew straight away that BoastfulWretch's eye was caught. This new dragon wasn't as ugly as either of them - undesirable genes perhaps, but colours that could have been complimentary if they weren't so bright.
It was with reluctance that IntestinalWyrm watched BoastfulWretch approach this newcomer, but when she gestured to him to join them, he found himself just as charmed by him as he had been by her the moment they'd met. This new dragon, Unabashed, was just as matter-of-fact about his appearance as she was, and gradually the three of them grew close enough that when BoastfulWretch had her next clutch of eggs, neither IntestinalWyrm or Unabashed were concerned as to which one of them was the father.

The three of them have found their place in the Traveling Clan, and found their place with each other.
