Uh-oh, looks like this quick thinking-and-drinking author wandered a little too far from their home lair (452562, Hyzenthlaay), and now they’re off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt them, we'd really appreciate it if you instead could just return them to their original home via the Crossroads, send them off in the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread (warning, you will get another traveler in return if you do this), or if you don’t want another traveler in return, this rest hub. You can also adopt them permanently if you don’t want them leaving your lair - just contact Hyzenthlaay and let her know (it’s good for her notes)! Many people have worked very hard on this traveling dragon, and exalting them would be an absolute shame. Please don’t do it! 
Fortunately, Zyne has been writing short-form novels longer than he has been drinking, though he can't admit to knowing when he started either. They're his two passions in life - and what tend to land him in hot water the most frequently. If he isn't skipping out on paying his bartenders in one clan, his seething criticism of their leader in his latest not-so-subtle allegory tale will inevitably stop him from staying in one place for too long. (Record Zyne’s experiences in your clan below!) grxndsxn, Crow Callers As I arrived in the clan, I encountered two fellow dragons with passions for novels - their names were Jules and Wylde. Jules was an employee at the Traveller's Lodge I was going to be staying at, though apparently he used to be a travelling dragon myself. I decided to think about that - I wanted to stay in a clan someday, but would this clan be it? I decided not to think about that right now. Right now, what mattered was I had somewhere to stay. Maybe I'd have some good drinks here, and think of inspiration for my next novel. I wanted to meet the other travellers. One of them was a Ridgeback named Frostflake, who I had quite a bit in common with. We were both forgetful. Now was the time to check out the bar of the clan, which was run by a Skydancer known as Blitzen. He let me have a few drinks, but quickly cut me off. Frustrated, I checked out another bar on the border of the Scarred Wasteland and Tangled Wood. Written by Jules: There was no sign of Zyne when I arrived at the bar. I asked Blitzen where he was, and he said that Zyne decided to go to the other nearby bar. I noticed that Zyne left his journal behind, so I'll be writing in it until I can find him and give it back. As I arrived in the bar, I came to realize that it was a much more dangerous place than expected. Worse yet, I saw a few dragons from Deer's Death in the bar, and still no sign of Zyne.. it's reasonable to conclude that he was kidnapped. I'll report his absence to Naxo and Harper - hopefully they'll rescue him. Glad to have my journal back! Being kidnapped was an experience I hope never happens again (though it probably will), but at least it's inspiration for my next novel. I've started writing about a Mirror dragon that visits his homeland, the Scarred Wasteland, and is kidnapped by pirates. I've decided to leave for now, but I hope I can come back some day! |
