Biography

((Clan Role: Clan Colonel))

Sidd is the oldest of the troublemakers of the clan.
He hates being told what to do. He has a bit of a history as a punk and then as a thug. He isn't afraid to let fists fly, and his temper is infamously more easy to set off than even the fiercest fire dragons.
And his favorite thing to do, (apart from pranking and bullying other dragons) is breaking things.
He mostly does what he does because he is starved for attention constantly, and acts out to express his emotions and need for control. This unfortunately comes with a solidification of his already bad reputation. The other dragons in the clan know to keep their distance, watch what they say around him, or otherwise write up his behavior for someone else to help direct away.

Sidd is one of the strongest in the clan, and as such, he uses his strength to push others around and get what he wants. Most everyone thinks that king Voelcifus is a little stupid for letting him stay and continue to be a no-good miscreant. But the king knows that Sidd had a poor childhood, neglected and excluded and without parents or friends, so he is merely trying to seek revenge for it, or else otherwise seek healing from it. Perhaps both. In thanks for Sidd's efforts to the clan, the king has advanced him to the status of Colonel. Though all Sidd really is thankful for is a place to crash, food to mooch, and things to take and kill and bring home. Those who have worked with him, mainly Alabaster and Wrathorwell, both insist Sidd might be a major pain and ruffian, but he is a great asset to have in battle. Sidd is possibly the only dragon of the clan's soldiery that will keep fighting, even if it's to the death.
He insists however he's not fighting for the glory of the clan, nor the king. He wants to make a point that no matter how dire the consequences are, he'll face any foe head-on and teeth barred, just to show his own savage bravery.

This attitude of course leaves him with many battle scars, wounds and he returns needing mending immediately. (To which Elva abhors.) Often, Sidd is even rejected around the clan and treated as his natural element, like a plague to be avoided at all turns. Sidd often thinks of ditching the clan he had been adopted into as a hatchling, and sometimes leaves for days and weeks at a time. He's convinced that if he left forever, the clan wouldn't give a damn.

However, he can't stand letting Benne get away with things, and won't go anywhere until he takes his long-festering revenge against him. In fact, he would probably follow him to the ends of the world just to kill him. It just so happens that Benne loves the clan and refuses to move anywhere else. And so Sidd stays.
What exactly has Benne done to earn such animosity from Sidd? Well, apart from stealing attention and affection from him as hatchlings, he also gave Sidd his bad name, (and literally naming him when he didn't have a name), tarnishing his reputation, framing him for misdeeds, and well, just playing upon Sidd's poor behavior.
Sidd needs to be kept FAR away from Benne, or the two will get into a very messy fight, usually leaving one or both of them very badly injured. If there is one thing Sidd cannot stand, it's Benne. At the mere sight of him, Sidd will charge and attempt to break his jaw, just so he could shut him up for a while.
It would be MOST unwise to enrage Sidd's temper by even mentioning Benne, which is why he and his son Erekk are not very close at all. As ironic as it is that his son would be best friends with Benne's son, Sidd doesn't care about Erekk or Chryss or even irony. Though he gives Chryss dirty looks and snarls, he gives dirty looks and snarls to most everyone anyway.
His other son with one of the clan's advisor and ambassador Solavalei, is Lester. Sidd refused to father him too sadly, as Lester was proven to him to be a weak hatchling with not much of a backbone at all.

He's had his flings with the other clan dragons, especially Evie, the clan's female company specialist. Though he and Evie seemed like a perfect match, with both not truly knowing love, and coming from a place of heartache, they went their separate ways. They really couldn't make each other happy.

Though, after an adventurous excursion outside the clan, (to which Sidd refuses to disclose) he had found a glimmer of hope and trust in a skydancer named Bloodmoon. (Though she is a vampire Sidd doesn't really seem to care.) Since bringing her to the clan with him, he seems to have found comfort and affection untainted by ulterior motives or deception. He's since then been too busy to break any trinkets, or kick anyone around. The clan all hopes he'll stay that way for a little while longer!

As for his newest hatchlings he is papa to, the clan seems confident Sidd will begin to embrace his offspring with Bloodmoon...at least, they hope so.
Together with her, he is the patriarch of the Sanguistear family, which is unclearly named from the nourishing sanguine blood of the wound, or perhaps the bloody color of the eye which once held countless tears...

@QueenNoodles
Sidd looks like the kind of guy who would follow someone out of a bar and corner them in an alley just because he didn't like the way they looked at him. 10/10 probably has anger issues.
