A shooting star...

Vykos was out at an archaeological site in Light when the meteor passed by, and has returned only recently. Thus spared the effects of the Arcane disaster himself, his main concern is for Slash.

Vykos is quite intrigued by the news of the aether. It looks as though every deity had at least one primordial prototype for their chosen breed—often on a grander or stranger or more elemental scale than their modern. Why, then, are Imperials not considered Ancient?

Greenskeeper Gathering has sent Vykos set a nest, then go on walkabout to archaeological sites in the Viridian Labyrinth. Perhaps he will be the first to identify Gladekeeper's rough-hewn first children.

Vykos is a wandering dragon from the lands of Light who serves as a skilled explorer and retriever of untended artifacts. He is also a competent forager for valuable trade materials like rare flowers and insects. Yskerryth and Wootz occasionally recruit him to assist in their architectural endeavors.

While not formally placed in the clan yet, Vykos is drifting toward the miscreant band of scientists as he spends more and more time in research—and as Moonglow and Keion grow more aware of his skills as a rogue archaeologist.

While not close with most of the clan, Vykos is reserved and fairly amiable. He gets along well with Laenalaerr, the only Light dragon in the leadership, and is one of the few dragons to properly appreciate Yskerryth's architectural works.

Physical description
Vykos is a small, lightly-built pearlcatcher with proportionately large wings. He has a mild, sweet scent and a graceful gait overland, though he is an unremarkable flier and a poor swimmer.

Combat
While he came to the Camp already casually trained in martial skills, Vykos has little interest in being a fighter, vastly preferring to flashbang threats and vanish down one of his already-spotted exits.

Origin
Vykos hails from the Inspiration Quarter of Clan Evermoon, a huge restored library in the Sunbeam Ruins heavily altered by magic. That his home clan is host to their own shadowy set of pirates and black marketeers is something unknown to the pearlcatcher, though it implies his brother may be connected with them.

Kin
Vykos is the son of two wild Fire dragons. His father, a skydancer, serves as a potter, while his mother, a pearlcatcher, is a jeweler. He has several siblings, among them Qune, at whose behest Vykos originally joined the Rogue's Camp.

Familiar

The styracavus is in a sense a living artifact that Vykos found on one of his forrays into the Sunbeam Ruins. He is rather enamored of the creature, though the dinosaur isn't quite certain how to feel about him in return.
