Biography
|
Believing that true friendship is defined by the strength and reciprocity of a bond, Tomo tends to be more introverted than her title would suggest. Her shy nature and tendency to warm up to others more slowly often hide her strength. Though her contributions may not always go acknowledged, she works hard to protect the clan because they are her friends and family, and she believes that there is strength in companionship and camaraderie. Some dragons in the clan find it a little more difficult to crack jokes with her because of her overflowing sincerity and consequential inability to parse sarcasm, but everyone admires and respects her earnest approach to her Spirithood and her work. Of course, her diligence stems partly from a sense of insecurity in her place among the Spirits. Despite being newer to the clan, she knew the stories and the history of the clan, having listened raptly to Bokbunja’s recounts. The previous Spirit of Friendship was banished from the clan and left behind during the Second Departure. Although Bokbunja tried to reassure her that there had been good reason to banish the disgraced former Spirit and that titles for Spirits were now bestowed by a power higher than the clan, she feared - still fears - that she would similarly give the clan cause to banish her. Those who see her and know this hope that one day she will grow comfortable enough to let go of her fear of abandonment. |

All dragons in the clan have a divine companion, and Tomo is no exception. She and the bramble guardian can often be seen together on patrols and reconnaissance runs to potential tears in the clan’s pocket dimension. |
