A clan as mighty as Athena did not get that way over night. It's prominent and respectable reputation for having the most well trained and undefeated army was earned. Through blood, sweat and tears. Athena moved up in the ranks until she became one of the toughest cookies around. She is currently the head trainer at the boot camp all soldiers attended. She is tough and unapologetic. She does take any mess and if someone challenges her authority, there will be hell to pay. Contrary to her sister, who is more of a laid back pacifist. Athena is uptight and stricter. She doesn't really believe in fun and having a good time. To her those things are just distractions from training, which she does day in and day out. During battles she takes full responsibility for any casualties. Especially if they were young. She keep a brave face around others as to not seem weak. But every now and again she finds a quiet place to cry and mourn the loses. Art  Story with her sister. *inside the clan lair, you hear distinct, unpleasant humming of the coatl tongue. Now that you think about it; did it actually sounded like one was arguing more loudly than the other? You peeked into the room the sounds were coming from, only to see a pair of coatls. The loud one was the color of blood while the more calmer one was white as snow. The calmer one looked in your direction before she started to speak common draconian.* I'm sorry, visitor. Can you excuse us? We are having an issue currently. *The louder coatl switched to common draconian as well.* I don't care if that stranger hears our argument! You are not my mother who decides that I should jam my nose into a book instead of joining the others at the front line when trouble rears its ugly head! *The calm coatl gave a strict stare at the other one.* Manners, Athena... The traveler is a guest here and this is being very rude to them. *Athena grumbled before she bowed her head.* Sorry, traveler. My younger sister, Purina, just wants me to be more ladylike. *Purina seemed satisfied with the apology to you. She also read the confusion on your face with ease.* It sure doesn't look like we are sisters when she is a plague dragon while I'm an arcane dragon, does it? To tell the truth, Athena was stolen from our parents when she was an egg and they had figured out how to turn her into a plague dragon to hatch and raised under a false identity. *You couldn't help but asked a question about it and Athena took it upon herself to answer.* How we figured it out? I grew suspicious of things as I grew up because it's not everyday that a plague dragon would be as smart as an arcane dragon and I managed to spy unexpectedly at the right time to hear my so-called father's gloating. But I've already been taught in the art of war and my knowledge in many manners of combat has made me a very dangerous dragon to trifle with. I left them shortly after to find my real family and Purina is the only one who believed me. *Purina nodded.* I spotted some subtle features of our family in her and her story tied in with our side of things very well. It just made complete sense to me. To the rest of our family; she was just another plague and could be setting up a trap. I went to hang out with her and soon saw that she and I bonded just like sisters should. I was convinced then as traveled with her to this clan to find out the possibility of this event being possible. *Athena continued like a sister.* It turns out to be possible, given the right conditions. It's not clear, but this clan had narrowed it down to alchemy or magic. Tech is out of the question currently. But I found my real family and I'm going to give those plagues that kidnapped me some 'thanks' when I see them in the future. *Purina gave a smile to you.* We'll continue our argument some other time. Would you care to tell us a bit about yourself? Athena needs to cool her rebellious temper while I'm wondering what wonderful places you've seen. |
