B I O G R A P H Y

______ Mirrors known for their voracious appetites. Lightning dragons are known for relentless ambition. Lorcan is posessed of both traits and as a result he can be a hard dragon to satisfy. Not content with wandering the desert he stuck his claim on the vast Mesa that would eventually become the hub for Clan Saguaro. A massive neon oasis and artificial paradise where no one wants and every kind of hunger can be sated. Surrounding himself with only the most capable and ambitious, Lorcan oversaw the growth and wealth of his clan and now that his empire is secured he guards it jealously from interlopers.

Lorcan is a passionate dragon, he holds lightning's relentless drive for self improvement close to his heart. His inner circle is small and carefully cultivated but it includes both of his favorite mates. Aksaja, the brilliant engineer behind most of Saguaro's infrastructure, and Izar who he stole away with him from Clan Lodestar during a trip to the ice flight. And as the clan has grown some of maintaining it has fallen to the next generation, with his daughter Liiv overseeing the care of Saguaro's greenery.

Lorcan does not pursue this dream for altruistic reasons. His motives are entirely selfish and while his design accommodates dragons of all breeds this is only because it would not feel "complete" if it was exclusionary. No true paradise is only a paradise to one breed of dragon. And there is no point in building a paradise without acknowledgement from others that he has succeeded. Still he admits that at this point it is as much Aksaja's dream as his own. Since she has taken up the care of this clan as her charge, she has the final say in who can stay and who cannot. His admiration of her skills has not waned one bit since the day he met her and he dutifully fulfills all her requests for materials no matter how rare or dangerous they are to obtain. He still considers her his first mate even though these days he's more likely to seek out Izar's company when he returns from the hunt.
