Cerulaeon is a strange Ridgeback, hailing from the domain of the sea and never truly leaving it. Since she was born, she could swim and actively chose to live in the water. She often was hired for transporting cargo across the sea in her adult life, and continued this career in the Tidelord's domain for decades. That is, until a particularly precious set of cargo was stolen by a group of pirates, from the base of couriers she operated. Said pirates led their vessel into a harsh storm in a hasty getaway, and that boat managed to finagle it's way straight towards the Canyon in the heart of the Shifting Expanse.


Cerulaeon was angry and followed the boat for a long time, trying to find the culprits for the destruction of her beloved home. That very ship was the Quarry, a group of sailing dragons who were deeply apologetic to the Canyongoers and Cavernkeepers within the Carrion Canyon. Cerulaeon, the giant sea Ridgeback, interjected any talking Captain Bella of the Quarry was trying to make by ceaselessly putting up a fight for her home, spitting that the crew were responsible for its loss.
