Uh-oh, looks like this astrology enthusiast wandered a little too far from her home lair (grxndsxn, 437722), and now she's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, she'd really appreciate it if you could just return her to the home lair, to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here, or to the hub if you don't want another dragon in return. Please refrain from exalting her!

Estrella loves astrology - she often tells other dragons their horoscope, and they're often surprised that they turn out to be accurate. It's all harmless fun, but little do many know that Estrella really can see the future.

She got her inspiration to travel Sornieth from her friend Sagittarius, who used to be a travelling dragon. She thought seeing the rest of Sornieth sounded exciting, so she decided to see for herself.

She decided to bring a dragon named Bayleaf with her to her first stop.

LittleParade

Estrella's first stop would lead her and Bayleaf to Takasa clan, a clan on the outskirts of the Wiretangle Walk, governed by the leaders, the Kuraiji, and a small group of highly trusted dragons, the Eiji. Takasa was founded on what looked to be a large pile of rocks all collapsed on top of each other, but the duo soon found that the dragons of Takasa had turned it into a rather hospitable metropolis.

Estrella split up from Bayleaf to explore a bit, and met Sakuya, a fog colored Veilspun on her way up the rocky columns. What resided at the top of the pile of rocks, was an ornate looking structure, floating high in the sky. Sakuya explained that the clan unearthed the massive pavilion one day, and it's been tethered to their territory ever since. As an Eiji, she took up the task of deciphering its secrets with her mate, Shihan.

After watching Sakuya leave, Estrella couldn't help but imagine what the floating pavilion looked like on the inside, and if the stargazing would be good from there. A while later, the Wildclaw met back up with her friend, and they continued on to the next destination.

After leaving Takasa clan, Estrella and Bayleaf encountered Flair's colony. Estrella had been confused at first -- there were only ruins around, and only a handful of dragons. Was this just a few dragons banding together to live in the Emperor's Wake?

And then they'd gotten closer, and she had spotted the bright flashes of fae and veilspun around the gaolers' great horns. They'd been welcoming to their visitors, and Estrella befriended the nascent seer who had recently joined the colony. The blue fae had been fascinated by astrology, and perched on Estrella's back peppering her with questions.

While she enjoyed her stay, this wasn't where Estrella wanted to stay, and she and Bayleaf continued on.

Hyzenthlaay

It was at Clan Mavenlark where the two finally separate, though they promised to meet each other once again. As it turned out, Estrella was actually nursing a huge crush on Bayleaf - one that the imperial unfortunately did not return. This caused a bit of awkward tension between the two that even the sights of the magnificent trade city could not quell, and it was finally agreed upon by the two that a break was in order. Neither wanted to stop being friends, after all.

But after travelling many months, she couldn't find her. This caused made Estrella a bit scared - what if something bad had happened to Bayleaf? Again she left to find her, to travel the world if she had to. Where could she be? Was she tired of travelling? Maybe she found herself a male mate and forgot of her long time friend and travelling partner. Clan after clan, and no sign of Bayleaf. Until she stumbled upon a new clan, full of regal dressed dragons and small critters. They lived on curious floating islands. It was warm, that she would have to get used to, unlike her icy birthclan. But maybe she could move on from Bayleaf, stop a life of wondering, and maybe find a new dragon to make her feel whole again.

Estrella was very lonely without Bayleaf, so when she was out stargazing one night and a glowing bat flapped around her head and followed her home, she decided to keep and befriend it. She called the bat Aries after the constellation. When she continued her search she was no longer quite so alone, but she still hoped to find a dragon to be with.

And dragons Estrella did indeed find. She spent the night in the Wandering Contagion, only to be awoken by a young imperial named Gaelan who asked her what she was doing there. After much confusion and questioning, she learned that she was now trapped in a place known as Blight's Bane. Thankfully, the wanderers welcomed her with open arms. Their settlement was nothing like the floating islands or bustling trade towns she'd seen - it was dirtier, for one. But the community was far more tight-knit, with many dragons ensnared by the curse sharing history generations back. In the end, it was Gaelan who Estrella spent most of her time with. He reminded her of Bayleaf in a strange way, with his kindness masked by a mischievous streak and somewhat blunt way of speaking. Even if his brother was better behaved - there was a kinship between them that Estrella couldn't shake. Perhaps she could settle down after all...
