Terra
archer | observant | shy | curious mate: N/A Terra always followed wherever the wind took her. From gliding volcanic vents, darting through thunderstorms, and basking in sunlight, Terra navigated every inch of Sorneith's skies. From above, she would watch dragons go about their days but never joined, content to observe before retreating to the winds. Then one day, she found herself atop a billowing mushroom cloud. She had entered the Scarred Wasteland. She was not unfamiliar with the territory but often made her trips swift, wary of the plague's dangers, but as she traveled, the clouds dissipated. Long before the Scarred Wasteland ended, Terra breathed fresh air. Confused, Terra looked down. Below her was a clan of plague dragons. Terra had observed plague clans before but they often moved quickly and spoke harshly. Meanwhile, these dragons spoke kindly, encouraging one another in their work as they made a sanctuary amidst the waste. Terra's heart ached. For so long she had watched her fellow dragons but never participated. She admired how the clan below her came together and thrived against all odds. She wondered what she could have contributed had she acknowledged her fellow dragons. There was only one way to find out. Terra descended from the clouds and landed in the Sanctuary. She barely managed and introduction and explained she was a traveler seeking shelter for the night. The clan's leader, Millicent, said there was plenty of space for a weary dragon and invited Terra to dine with them. Terra accepted and conversed with many dragons that night. She heard their stories ranging from pilgrimages, fearsome foes, and grand inventions. Every dragon had a story and talent but when they asked of Terra, she hesitated. Aside from flying, she had few skills, but she hoped she could find her talent. She also added that she would like to find her path in the Sanctuary if they would allow her The Sanctuary's dragons agreed heartily and welcomed Terra with open wings. In the days that followed Terra explored different areas of the sanctuary. She danced with Elise in the glittering court, gathered herbs in Genevieve's garden, wandered the tower with Johnathan and Mina, and explored the thriving village. However, it was amongst the Sanctuary's warriors that Terra found her talent. With her adept flight and good eyes, she was a natural with a bow and arrow. Training with the warriors invigorated Terra and she took pride in felling foes that'd have breached the Sanctuary otherwise. She now flies with purpose, defending her clan.
