hunter | curious | adventurous | motivational mate: N/A | PAIR RANGE With his faceted eyes, Mason is granted unmatched sight. Even through the sharp, icy winds of the Southern Snowfield, he is able to spot his prey and swoop in for the kill. Thus made him a valuable asset in his icy homeland, and for many years, Mason reveled in the life of a hunter. He mapped the Southern Icefield and braved beasts from every corner, becoming the envy of many clans. However, with his success came monotony. No longer did the icy realm challenge him so he sought a new purpose and he hoped to find it within his species' ancestral home: The Scarred Wasteland. He set off on a journey and along the way, he met another aberration, Tatiana. She had also ventured from her home, the Tangled Wood, and hoped to find a new purpose as well. With their shared goals, they traveled together to the Scarred Wasteland. For miles, they endured blistering heat and dagger-like winds, but they persevered and eventually found a patch of green amidst the waste, an oasis where water ran fresh and food was plenty. There, they met others of their kind. Aberrations who also believed in greater purpose and strength for their kind. Mason was particularly piqued, believing he could be an asset. For he had learned that many of his kind were sickly and fearful of others yet he boasted mastery of a faraway, unforgiving realm. He told passing aberrations of his hunting prowess and endurance against the freezing temperatures and they listened with great rapture. For if a species as abnormal and frail as theirs could survive the icy tundra, surely they could spread through Sorneith and find their own way. It is in this motivation that Mason found his new purpose. Though he still acts as a hunter, providing for his fellow aberrations, he is most proud of his symbolic nature to other aberrations, inspiring them to brave the unknown.
