Forest Falls Clan
I'm so eager to get out of here! I'm going to miss Dad and Akanthos and Yahaira - and, you know, having a pack - but I need to see more than just trees! There's some talk about moving, but no one's doing anything about it, and I know Mom and Serenade want to "keep the clan together." Like that makes any sense when "the clan" is hundreds of dragons. They're basically in charge of them all, and that's great for them, but it's not for me. I stayed all the way through Greenskeeper, like Mom asked, even though I know it's traditional to send travelers off into the world during the celebrations, but I'm a grown dragon. I mean, my sisters have kids already! Serenade has grandkids! I don't want to stick around and raise kids and grandkids in the same place I was born! It's time for me to go, even if Mom doesn't like it.

Crow Callers
I stopped by Crow Callers, a clan with a wide variety of dragons. I met Joaquin early on, and we hit it off! He made me happy, and we had a few hatchlings together, but... I'm not ready to settle down. I decided to continue my travels.

Ruyime's Clan
A storm came out of nowhere and I got injured. Luckily, I was found by Applebutter; she alerted her clan's medical team, and I was treated by the head doctor, Yona. She told me I had broken my foot and that I had to rest. Being forced to rest isn't the same as choosing to, and I'm getting antsy! But after a few days, Yona gave me permission to leave. I thanked her for treating me well and took off again.

The Septarian Territory
I am still on the hunt for a pack that fits me. With my broken foot healed and nothing but adventure ahead of me, I knew it was time for some new surroundings. Making my way to Dragonhome from deep in the Starwood Strand was no easy feat, but I did it. Next was a matter of finding a place to stay.

The place I found seems to have some friendly faces, but it doesn't seem like a great place to find a pack. A local Snapper allowed me to hang around his place, but I get the feeling I'm not meant to stay long...

Clan Scratch
I'm not having much luck with the weather! A terrible headwind forced me to land in the Viridian Labyrinth, where I met Electrum. We talked a lot, and honestly? I found him quite charming. Long story short, we had five cute hatchlings!

But as they grew, I found myself growing restless again... I will miss them, but Electrum's clan will take care of them. Adventure awaits!

Amaranth Clan
I stumbled across a strange underground village: an entire society of Butterfly Coatls! At first, they were wary of my presence, and I felt very unwelcome. I was about to withdraw when Catmint explained that they weren't used to travelers; sometimes visitors came to the Amaranth Clan on the surface, but rarely did they venture underground.

So I decided to learn their culture! I wanted to gain their trust. It took a long while, but I learned lots. For example, the Coatls name their hatchlings after plants, and anyone wanting to join their society must change their name to a plant, as well. They told me my name is very similar to the name of a very large and diverse genus of flowering plants, "euphorbia," also known as spurges.

Their knowledge was fascinating, but I don't really want to become a Coatl or change my name. My travelling days aren't over yet!

The Sunbeam Lanternhouse
I flew across the ocean to the Sunbeam Ruins, where I was made welcome at a lovely inn. I got to choose my own room, and nobody put any pressure on me to be anyone but myself!

But part of being myself includes finding a pack to belong to, and I was disappointed by how few Mirrors were present in the clan. I had a bit of a fling which resulted in two hatchlings, but it wasn't the same. Though their hospitality had been wonderful, I decided to move on.

City of Caesura
I made a brief stay in the Wind Territory city of Caesura after hearing through the grapevine that a new gathering place and rest stop had opened there. Of course I had to see it with my own eyes! Truly, it was everything I could have hoped for. There was an old-fashioned inn set up across the street from a watering hole that was really fun to splash around in. Plenty of friendly faces also stopped by to see the new space, and stories and drinks aplenty were shared!

Clan Kaishal
I followed a caravan of dragons out of the big city because they seemed fun. Turns out, they were headed to the distant Mount Kaishal, a holy mountain dedicated to the Eleven, to serve the gods. They invited me to travel with them, although I told them I had other places to seek out afterwards.

It was a LONG journey. The peak standalone mountain was visible long before the bamboo forests that surround it, and I probably would have gotten lost without the others to guide me. The trip was worth it, though. The base of the mountain, where Clan Kaishal was set up, was beautifully pristine even though it seems like tons of dragons make their way through there every year. I was told I could not ascend the mountain, since I was not a devotee on the road to exaltation, but that was just fine with me. It looks cold up there!

I stayed long enough to have a single hatchling, Summer, named for her cheery disposition. She's so cute! Like me, though, she seems to have a wandering spirit. I wish her the best on her journey, and I'm sure I'll see her again!

Whipserland Sanctum
I didn't stay long at Whisperland Sanctum. There was another, rather cranky traveler there who I found quite intoxicating. But, he wouldn't give me the time of day. I decided after making quite the fool of myself fawning all over him to no avail, to sneak away unnoticed and find adventure somewhere else.

The Purified Temple
These pages of Euphoria's journal appear to be in terrible shape. Entire excerpts have been violently torn out of the book's binding. There are sections where the Mirror scrawled so hard with her quill, she tore the paper and bled ink all over the pages before and after. The only pieces from this chapter of her travels that remain legible are some depressing song lyrics, concept sketches for a band logo, and dozens of pages of fan mail addressed to a dragon named Nickelback.

Euphoria has never acted like this before... it isn't like her at all. It's like she's being affected by some kind of spell.

Forest Falls Clan
Wow, okay, not really sure what happened back there...? I keep getting a couple of bars of a song stuck in my head when I try to figure it out, and it's driving me a little crazy (craziER, maybe? because that's not a really sane diary...) so I'm just going to hope I didn't do anything too terrible and move on.

Anyway! I ended up in Caesura, in Wind territory, and that's where I snapped out of it, I guess. I got to know a Guardian named Lymeria, who was kind of unsure what to do with herself, and I suggested she come home with me. It seemed like a really good plan! Except that I'm not sure what happened to "home." Most of the building seem to be torn down, holes and tunnels filled in, all of that. Like they totally abandoned the place.

So I freaked out a little. I knew there'd been some tension about the way the clan was run - we didn't expel all the dragons born in Plague when everyone else did - and I knew Mom and Serenade had been listening to that new Imperial talk up the Light Flight, so I was pretty sure I knew what had happened, but there were no clues where they went. A few of the tree dragon dwellings seemed to be intact - not occupied, but hey, they're tree dragons, they don't lounge around indoors - so I just camped out around where I thought Maple and Linden tended to do their circuit, and laid in wait for them.

I may have gotten a little bit carried away and pounced when I saw them coming. Birds squawking and flapping everywhere, all kinds of crashing tree noises... it was great. They were pretty mad at me, but they were happy to see me in the end. And they gave me directions to the family's new turf! I stuck around for long enough to go on a hunt with Akanthos and Sycamore, for old times' sake, then I took off to guide Lym to the new digs.

Helianthus Haven
Pretty typical of Mom to grow sunflowers everywhere as soon as she settles down in the Light Flight! I'm not complaining - they're pretty, and it makes the new place feel a little more homey. It's nice, don't get me wrong, it's just very developed compared to the old treehouses and dugout dens. I'm used to seeing all kinds of different settlements, but it's weird seeing familiar faces in a new setting.

And a lot of unfamiliar faces amongst them. Obviously a lot of the Nature die-hards stayed behind, and I guess some of the others scattered all over. And there are a lot of new members now who must have joined up, or been born, since I was gone. Serenade's had more kids, apparently Mom and Dad had another nest after moving here, there's this stuffy new Light Flight advisor hanging around with Serenade's youngest, and apparently Imperials and Pearlcatchers hate each other now? I'd heard that was a thing, but it always seemed like our group managed to give that a miss. Zalitz even has Pearlcatcher kids!

Not really my problem, but it's weird, you know?

Uh-oh, looks like this energetic Mirror wandered a little too far from her home lair (Lirillith #149136), and now she's off to see the world! Rather than exalt, it would be appreciated if you would return her home, to Dragons Off To See The World, or to the rest hub.
