Artemis is never one to back down from a fight. She's strong and fearless, and will never hesitate to put you in your place and make you recognize hers is above yours. She normally is found defending the honor of the Tangled Wood in battle, but sometimes is found leading hunts for food to help feed her fellow dragons. King Neptune felt it was only right that a dragon that knew the Tangled Wood like the back of her hand led everyone safely to gather provisions.

Artemis is witty and a bit snappy, and has extensive knowledge in magic. When she's not wielding weapons, she's mixing potions at her cauldron, creating buffs for the Shadow warriors on the frontline and temporary heals until the healing dragons can assist those in need. Her latest concoction was designed to transform dragons into Beastclans for a few minutes then change them back, but... that one still needs some work (Go ahead. Ask Bennie how long he's been a Blackwing Croaker...).

While Artemis loved being part of the hunt and toying with new potions, she longed more than anything to find love and start a family of her own. She hadn't garnered many suitors over the years after being recognized as the big bad dragon, and she spent a few years too many convincing herself that it was okay that she was alone -- that she didn't need a companion.

Then, one day, King Neptune welcomed a new dragon into their fleet -- Atlas the Mage, who depended on magic for battle. He fought alongside Artemis, making up in defenses where she was unable to. They made a picture perfect pairing, an undefeatable team that she was proud to be a part of.

"I hope you know that I trust you with my entire life," Atlas shared as they helped collect the loot from the latest battle. He put down his basket, and made Artemis put hers down too. He gestured for her to hold out her hand, and without hesitation, he placed his precious pearl in her palm. "So much, in fact, that I'd be willing to let you keep this, as a token of my love."
