"It's only polite to offer a bite to a vampire. It's our kindest way of greeting each other."
Dahaki came from Lubo's home in the deep caves of Sornieth, working with his own family in mining up ores while Lubo's family were higher ups in charge of the trades. Dahaki never knew Lubo personally, but finding him in the Colony made Dahaki want to target the kid, blame him for all this- but he learned Lubo was hit hard by knowing he was offered by his own parents as trade to save their own skins. And while it was reluctant, Dahaki eventually put it on himself to watch over Lubo like a younger brother, and protect him from any further emotional harm if he could- but being in the Colony made that no easy task.


Being this adopted older brother to Lubo, Dahaki has always strived to have a sense of power in the world. To him, if you have power and feel powerful, you have no reason to be afraid. He was strong in those ideals- until he found a target of Zach to bully like other Colony members, but the skydancer made him the victim by not being afraid of him. It hit Dahaki in his pride, his sense of strength wavering- but he figures the one good thing is that at least Lubo is close to someone who's so strong... Or maybe just so broken?

All Dahaki knew, though, was that Zach was the only person who truly made Lubo feel safe. And so when the day came that Zach escaped the Colony, he hadn't seen Lubo so broken before. It was worse than when they first arrived to the Colony, and he had no idea how to help let alone if Lubo would ever recover.

This world truly was cruel and out to hurt the good ones, wasn't it?
