Tornado
Camp Guard
(Serves as a last resort defense against any trespassers)

"Dear old daddy, rest his soul
Left my mom a heavy load
She tried so very hard to fill his shoes
Working hours without rest
Wanted me to have the best
She tried to raise me right but I refused."
-"Mama Tried", by Merle Haggard

In the clan's early days, Obsidian found a lost wind dragon egg on a hunting trip. She took it back to the clan's camp for safekeeping and headed to the marketplace, asking after the egg's parents to no avail. After a day or two of trying and failing to reunite the family, Obsidian decided to just keep the egg as her own - the clan had enough supplies to support one more dragon anyway.

Around a week from the egg's discovery, it hatched. Breaking free from the lime green shell was a dusty-looking guardian, his eyes only a few shades off from nature dragons'. A week after his hatching, the young dragon earned his name by running though his clanmates' dens and personal hoards, scattering their belongings as he went - only his status as a hatchling spared him their wrath, instead inspiring indulgent headshakes and muttering about him being a "little tornado".

Time passed, and Tornado matured into a responsible (if still rambunctious) adult. Eventually he left in search of his charge, but he didn't have to wander far before finding an abandoned chimera relic - the gilded statue called to him, and with a week's time Tornado was back home, charge in tow.
