INFORMATION AND LORE
The average Prioncrow faces many threats to their survival, especially in the Scarred Wasteland, the harsh landscape both they and those who most wish to kill them call home. If, against all odds, a Prioncrow should survive and grow strong enough, the Crow can claim the title of “Cephlocrow”, a name originally coined by Encephs to recognize the greatest among their Prioncrow allies, those that have earned a ranking all but equal to that of an Enceph. It eventually spread to encompass all Prioncrows possessing such strength and experience. In contrast to the normally secretive practices of their younger brethren, most Cephlocrows are proud of what they are, or at least of what they’ve overcome. They can often be found leading groups of Prioncrows.
These dragons have mastered not only survival, but are also proficient fighters. Many are previous victims of Enceph hunters and now seek to turn the tables on their former tormentors. The more dangerous Cephlocrows however, are those trained and raised by Encephs. After being told for so long to carry out “Plaguebringer’s will” and challenge others to survive Her trials, many of them end up turning on their former allies, daring them to overcome a new trial. This belief is even more pronounced in inborn Prioncrows, who have been taught from birth that they are destined for greatness.
Perhaps even more terrifying than the Enceph-hunting Cephlocrows, are the few who decide to remain loyal to these masters of prion disease. Alone, each dragon is powerful. Together, they may prove to be one of the greatest threats Sornieth has ever faced.
